Ummmmmmmmmmmmm.
Note to Kanye West: Cut it out!!!
'The Hollywood Reporter' is reporting that my favorite politically savvy hip-pop superstar will "star in a reality series that HBO is developing with 'Borat' director Larry Charles." (Read story.)
I had to do a double take.
And here I am thinking that Mr. West (who is a media whore) was on the up and up and was apart of the new black intelligencia, with his public George Bush-whacking and support of homosexuality in hip-hop. (Read story)
But this?
Reality TV?
Borat?
That's insane.
Keyshia Cole, Miss New York and many others who have come before the self-titled Louis Vuitton Don better make way.
But, maybe if it's done up like 'Curb Your Enthusiasm,' it would be good in the hood.
That remains to be seen, though.
I'm just ranting!!!

This does not surprise me at all. He is a media whore who cries everytime man doesn't give him an award for his GOD given talents. And who said he is part of black intelligencia? He is not telling us anything about Bush that we don't already know. His comment regarding mixed-raced women was the dumbest thing he could have said.

Politically savvy? Making the statement that the President doesn't like black people? Nope, that seems like he's nothing short of a media whore and a classless individual. I can't see his proposed show being anything more substantial than that load of crap that Flava Flav is doing.

Kanye West is an idiot. No one really cares about his politial views except other idiots. The whole worlds racist according to him. He's part of the problem not part of the solution.
What's could this no talent moron possibly do on a reality show that anyone would find interesting???
I'll give it 3 weeks before the producers pull the plug. Then he'll accuse them of being racist.
Hey Kanye, respect is earned not demanded!!!
Idiot!

Do you know much about Sacha Baron Cohen? His humor is political and social satire gold because its controversial style is meant to reflect back to us our own failings. Baron Cohen explains his work best when he says it is a 'dramatic demonstration of how racism feeds on dumb conformity as much as rabid bigotry'. If Kanye wants to work with him, perhaps it's because he recognizes that Sacha Cohen's work illuminates the sad truth that even while hiding behind political correctness, political, social and religious intolerance continues in this country.
