The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Science may have conveniently omitted Beyonce Knowles as a songwriter for the Academy Award nominated song "Listen," but she's still getting credit from another prestigious awards organization.
The bootylicious beauty, starring as Deena Jones in the big movie adaptation of 'Dreamgirls,' recently received the Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) Critic's Choice Award for Best Song for the song.
Additionally, 'Dreamgirls - Music From the Motion Picture," the official soundtrack for the film, released by Music World Music/Sony Urban Music/Columbia/Sony Music Soundtrax, also received the BFCA Critics' Choice Award for Best Soundtrack.
The winners were revealed at the 12th annual Critics' Choice Awards.
"Music World Music is thrilled Beyonce and the 'Dreamgirls' soundtrack have been honored by such a prestigious organization as the Broadcast Film Critics Association," Mathew Knowles said. "The highly anticipated soundtrack is making chart-topping history and it features the great talent of Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Hudson, Eddie Murphy, Anika Noni Rose, and we are excited to see that everyone's hard work is being recognized in all areas."
Founded in 1995, the Broadcast Film Critics Association is the largest film critic's organization in the United States and Canada, representing 199 television, radio and online critics.

Jennifer Hudson is only hot right now because of DREAMGIRLS. Let's face it she has done no more than any other person with a OK singing voice has done. People it was a musical, she's been singing on GAY CRUISE SHIPS forever! It's a given. Beyonce's has not a DAMN thing to worry about. Besides she's BEYONCE' need I say more. Jennifer, my dear enjoy your 15 micro minutes of fame dear. Don't let Hollywood PUNK you, you know how they feel about for a lack of better words "PLUS SIZE GIRLS!!" You may win the OSCAR, hell even Cuba Gooding Jr. won one, Girl have you seen BOAT TRIP?? Me, Either!

Thank you for responding to my comment on Beyonce. I appreciate it. I wrote my comment in away that would stir up conversation and that's it. I simply put my opinion out there to see if someone would respond and to my surprise you did. I appreciate you and agree with your opinion. To be real with you, I should not have said anything at all about Beyonce and her family because I really don't care about what they are doing. I am happy for them. God Bless them. I have learned my lesson and I will never do it again. I am done. I will give and speak luv and that's it.
You are right, I was double talking in my comment because I really don't care about what B and/or her dad is doing. God Bless them and everybody.
Thank you for correcting my typing mistakes. I appreciate it. I remember when I was afraid to write my opinion down in fear that I would make mistakes and someone with a more brilliant mind would magnify it so making a typing and or grammatical mistake is still victory for me.
Gwen, I put a lot of time and money into children across the nation. I simply love to see great people give back and promote humanity more so than self. Once again, Thank you and May God Continue To Bless You All.
