If you're wondering what sultry pop music sensation Rihanna will be doing for Valentine's Day, be surprised: she won't be spending it with one of hip-hop's most eligible bachelors.
She'll be spending it with a woman!!!

Though it sounds salacious (dirty mind), it's very true.
The platinum-selling Bajan beauty will be spending the big day -- like many single women do -- with a gal pal.
"Me and my best friend... a girl... we are going to dinner and then going to the movies and then we are going to party in our room and just go crazy because we are both single," the 'Pon de Replay' singer said in a recent interview with 'MTV Radio Networks.'
"... We are going to make it a fun all girls night," she continued, adding, "because I hate being alone on Valentine's Day, I hate that. It would have been worse if she wasn't here with me, 'cause I would be here all by myself, but she is gonna be here with me and we are gonna have so much fun!"
Fresh off wrapping a European tour with the Pussycat Dolls, the 18-year-old hottie (legally known as Robyn Rihanna Fenty) is reportedly already gearing up for her third opus, reportedly including collaborations with Ne-Yo, Timbaland, and Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am.
Rihanna's debut opus, 'Music of the Sun,' was released in the late summer of 2005 and achieved gold-selling status. Her sophomore set, 'A Girl Like Me,' was released seven months later, sold over one million copies an netted four Billboard awards.

There's nothing wrong with a little down time with the girls, and there's nothing wrong with spending Valentine's day alone. Being a life coach, I can't help but think that the words she used "I hate being alone on Valentine's day..." pretty much cast the dye. I would encourage her to be more positive.

I think its sweet that she is spending it with her best friend, there is nothing wrong wit that and there is nothing wrong wit being single! Valentines day is all about love, enjoyin and embracin it, and spending it wit people u love, right?

well at least she didn't spend it with mogul Jay z..Folks do say them two were doing a lil messing around. It's ok I guess to chill with the girls heck I do all the time. My house is the meeting place....just ask my buddies, senya, alyce, ivy, jameelah, mareietta and more.. we all chill!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know I'll be accused of being a hater but Rihanna BORES me. I mean I'll be watching her on tv and wanna fall asleep 'cause there's nothing exciting about her. Beautiful but boring. Just like Cassie.
