Rihanna is gearing up to release her third project this summer.

Yes, her third album.

That will be three albums within less than three years -- that's how the legends used to record albums back in the day.

According to her record company spokeswoman, the Bajan beauty is currently in the studio recording the project, shooting for a June 5 release date.

"We do not yet know what will be on the album," Def Jam Vice President Jana Fleishman confirmed to The BV Newswire today. "She is still recording, they are still choosing songs."

Reports have surfaced that the 18-year-old songstress (legally known as Robyn Rihanna Fenty) was in the studio working with her 'Unfaithful' collaborator Ne-Yo, and has also collaborated with in-demand hit-maker Sean Garrett.

Hip-hop super-producers Timbaland, Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am and Andre 3000 have also been attached to the yet to be titled project.

In other Rihanna news, she recently teamed up with Pussycat Dolls frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger for the fast paced, techno-infused hip-pop track 'Winning Women,' for Secret antiperspirant deodorant. The "women" were chosen to promote the new Secret Scent Expressions product line. The song, which is available for free download, promotes female self-expression, strength and cultural fusion.

"I'm a strong young woman and want to set a good example for other young women," Rihanna said about participating in the campaign. "As the song says, I believe there's strength in self expression and individuality."
