I know they say people in Hollywood are flaky but this story can be a clear example of folks kicking you when you're down.
Question: Is Simon Cowell considering Brandy Norwood a liability?
Answer: It appears so.
The sharp-tongued, fashion challenged 'American Idol' judge is reportedly putting the kibosh on what many thought would be a good look for the former pop superstar.
Until the fatal car crash took place -- at the hands of the 'Moesha' star -- last December, she seemed to be on the comeback trail after being dropped by her longtime label Atlantic Records.
When cast as one of the judges of the ambitious 'American Idol' - inspired talent competition 'America's Got Talent,' which aired last summer on NBC, it provided a great mainstream primetime opportunity for Norwood.
Cowell is the creator and the executive producer of the show, which also featured Regis Philbin as its host, and David Hasselhoff as one of its judges.
Yesterday, 'The New York Post' reported that Sharon Osbourne may replace Norwood on the second season of the show.
Osbourne, the wife of heavy metal star Ozzy Osbourne and reality show superstar, is reportedly in talks with producers to take over the gig. Known as a friend of Cowell's, the fellow Brit also appears as a judge on his hit UK talent show, 'X-Factor.'
Though Norwood has yet to be prosecuted for the Dec. 30 death of Awatef Aboudihaj on the Los Angeles highway, she continues to be embroiled in inescapable negative media attention.

Strange animals....humans....we just love kicking folks when they're down, in trouble - we relish it - but when they're up and making it, they are our favorites, our idols. We crave the "dirt" on others that we all wallow in at some point in our sad lives, and then say "I told you so". Why is this? There are no Saints down here...we all are fault filled and prone to mistakes and shortcomings - yet we sit in judgement of folks who are just like us - only famous, and in the glare of the cameras and lights.A lot of it- I think -is jealousy- they live the life we only dream about - so when they trip and fall - we rejoice...wrongly. When you sling mud at somebody - it's bound to get on you too. And scrutiny is a double-edged sword.

Brandy grew up in Carson, Ca.,across the street from me. As with her family, she has always been a sweet, well mannered person, who always displayed high character and morals. Bad things happen. Why must people lust when something negative happens to others?

How do we claim to be children of God, how do we claim to be descent Christians,Muslim,Jews or whatever your spiritual belief is by carrying on like this. Brandy is a human being who is not perfect and has her faults like every human being in this world. How did we become so hateful to talk dirty about this girl and not know the facts. And if you do know the facts you still don't have the right to judge. We as mere mortals have to understand that we have don't own heaven or hell and we need to worry about our own salvation. My mother always said what a person does or does not do won't get you into heaven. So stop shouting "Praise the lord" & "Allah U Akbar" in your Churches,Mosque and Synagogues then go home and get on your computers and do the work of the devil. And those of you who don't have GOD in your life try it and you'll like. I'm not saying I'm "Holier than thou" but I would like to make it to Paradise when I leave this earth. So start by saying a prayer for Brandy and ask God's forgiveness for being so mean spirited. It's that simple. Learn how to say your sorry and mean it. When you can do that it means your maturing... Trust me it's good for the heart.
Brady if you ever read this put your faith in God and hold on to his unchanging hand. Imagine how God feels about a a world that has gone mad,he didn't want it this way. So your hurt and his hurt are uncompareable. Live life and he'll see you through.
Remember:

Hey Fans,
Make the witch apologize for accidentally killing the woman !!!!! Anyone who hide behind money, and lawyers don't deserve your loyalty. Also,Simon is looking after his investment and not making this a personal attack. Hey fans, ask Brandy to grow up! As one of you said, "only God can truly judge" but I don't have to support Hollywood nonsense. Losing respect for life shouldn't be paraded before the media.-So, say what you will!

Listen People I am appauld to see how angry some people get over other people mistakes. Yes she had an accident and yes she killed someone and we all know that. We are not taking away from the fact that Brandy did those things I know for a fac that Brandy is absolutely sick over it she made a "MISTAKE" She not denying the fact that she killed that woman she knows it's her fault. You all act as if she purposely got in the car and hit that woman. I hope God is this forgiving to you all when you reach the gates. On the topic of B's sex life you wasn't there and you don't know what went on so keep your mouth shut. Rumors are out of control now a days they say sinbad is dead and we believe everything that comes out of the tabloids papers. People get your minds free it bigger things in the world going on. On the topic about Sonya Norwood she did the best that she could with her company and things happen her company is still up and running and have currently signed a new acts 702 and sillk broke up on their own. Their last albums barley made gold that wasn't Sonya's fault 702 were all getting pregnant and married by the last album they couldn't tour and promote that album. Sonya loves her children and regarldess of your thoughts she is supporting them through this extremely rough time. It sad that you all never had a bad day Brandy is human and sometimes when fans come up to her some of them are pushy and want her to do too much. So she has to be careful None of you can honestly say you have signed hundreds and hundreds of autographs it is overwhelming. Yes she in a bad mood but who is happy and joyful all the time. If you don't like her don't buy her music but she still has fans that love her. Only God Can judge her remember that she not and evil person just a person who made a mistake. Some Fans are so flaky it is sad you al do Beyonce the same way when they were on you all couldn't get enough but they make a mistake and you all are the firing squad

The truth of the matter is none of us KNOW Brandy. We only KNOW what the media presents to us, and most of that is un-true hype. They also add their feelings, that can cloud the truth both ways, if they like her they leave out the bad and if they don't like her they put the bad in plus some. Joy I hope none of your friends truly know how you are because they would out you just like you did Brandy (I DO NOT BELIEVE WHAT JOY SAID). I believe Joy is someone who crossed paths with Brandy and it was not good. Remember though we truly DO NOT KNOW THESE PEOPLE and therefore should not judge them. The only thing I can say about Brandy is I enjoy her music.
