Just in time to help with the marketing of her new movie, 'Perfect Stranger,' Halle Berry will get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The Academy Award winning star of films such as 'Monster's Ball,' 'Catwoman' and 'B.A.P.S.' will receive Hollywood Blvd's 2,333rd star on April 3.
The honor comes five years after the 40-year-old starlet became the first African American to win an Oscar for best actress.
'Perfect Stranger,' also starring Bruce Willis and Gary Dourdan, opens April 13.

While it's long overdue, Halle's track record has been quite spotty to say the least and her roles since "Queen" haven't been on that level since. She needs to give her best actress award to Ms. Angela Bassett, a real actress with dignity and real talent. Maybe "Perfect Stranger" will resurrect her dismal movies and acting in those movies since "Monster's Ball". The star is nice and long overdue and the people that give those stars out, need to reexamine the requirements considering they gave Ryan Seacrest one first and Chris Rock got his after 6 years in the biz while Chaka Khan doesn't have one. What's the deal?
