Ladies (and Gentlemen), Usher is officially off the market.
The platinum-plated R&B heart-throb (legally known as Usher Raymond) confirmed last night that he will be getting married this year.
"I'm engaged now," the 28-year-old multiple Grammy Award winner revealed, hinting that he could be walking down the aisle with his longtime 38-year-old girlfriend Tameka Foster -- before the end of this year.
MTV reports that "rumors of Usher's pending nuptials have been floating around for a little over a month. Photos of Usher and Foster - with a rock on her finger - have also made the rounds, but on Wednesday night, he confirmed the information publicly for the first time."

Age is just a number and c'mon she is only 10 years older no way she could be his mother. I know a lady who is 71 with a man 45 they get along fine, so let them alone.

I personally know Ms. Fosters' ex-husband, Mr. Glover and he is a beautiful person! Inside and out! I cannot beleive she has left him. Her ex is just as handsome and wealthy and such a gentleman! I know because, I used to date him while he attended Howard University. I'm truly saddened by the news. I know family is very important to him. May God keep you and bless you R.Glover

Usher's mom held his hand too long.I can understand seperating business from family. He marrying that 39 year old veteran is ridiculous. Who has the courage to help him out? He does not need that bag and her luggage. Doesn't he know that a good head job is not grounds for marriage. Just watch she is going to get pregnant before he can get his head screwed on tight.

I hope none of this is true. This chick cheated on the first one and she will cheat on him too. His mother is there good times and bad. He should have more respect for his mother. And having kids is not a factor to me, because I have them also. But I can read through people and this girl has money signs written all over her face. If he wanted an older woman he should have stayed with Chilli, she is much prettier anyway and she has money already.

My hat's off to you Usher. First of all age is nothing but a number so if Tameka makes you feel like you are the only man on this planet, just love her and enjoy all the love and excitement she brings into your life. For all the haters, why are you judging Tameka for cheating on her ex-husband, does anyone really know what was going on in her marriage? Be happy for the loving couple and give them your blessings. Usher remember to keep God in your life, and you will have a great marriage.

Are we really talking about this crap. I am a First Sergeant over in Iraq with 133 soldiers in harms way 24/7. It true that americans care more about who the next american idol is going to be rather than whats going on with their country and the brave men and women protecting them. 3500 Soliders have died yet we cant get everyone to the polls to vote but over 5 million people vote for american idol. Well I hope everthing works out for him and his child. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU SAID THANK YOU TO THE BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN OF THE ARMED SERVICE?

I like Usher I seen him grow up on TV. I feel that he shoule marry someone his age. If he is happy with his fiance then hey Good Luck what people thinks should not matter.. Enjoy life cause life is too short to be worrying about bull crap.. : )
