Shar Jackson sure knows how to stay in the media.
The former 'Moesha' star -- now best known as Britney Spears' baby's daddy babies' mother -- is now a part of a growing list of black celebrity notables who have gone under the knife.
"I feel sexy and amazing," Jackson told the April 16 edition of 'In Touch Weekly' about her recent plastic surgery. "I'm looking forward to wearing two-piece swimsuits this year. The last time I wore a bikini was when I was 16."
The 30-year-old mother of four opened up to the popular tabloid about having being scarred by stretch marks from her numerous pregnancies. "I tried everything, but nothing got rid of stretch marks," she confided.
On January 26, she underwent a tummy tuck and breast lift, performed by Hollywood based specialists Dr. Michael Niccole and Dr. Ghada Y. Afifi.
"The amazing thing about the surgery is the short recovery time," Niccole told 'In Touch.' "Within four weeks, she was feeling great again."
Jackson, who reportedly started acting at age 11, has appeared in sitcoms such as 'ROC,' 'Hanging with Mr. Cooper,' and 'The Steve Harvey Show.' In 1996, she joined the cast of the hit UPN sitcom 'Moesha,' playing the role of Niecy Jackson, the title character's best friend.
Although well regarded as a favorite among black TV viewers, Jackson has most recently become tabloid fodder.
Two of her four children were fathered by Kevin Federline -- back-up dancer turned Britney Spears lover/husband/ex-husband and C-list media personality. With no movie or TV projects in the works, she has done a barrage of publicity revolving around their tumultuous and very short-lived affair and marriage.

once again black women complains about everything, if you have enough green back than you can look anyway you wants. Take a few hours everyday at the gym, eat right and best of all get some love and respect for yourself. After all when it all said and done you still the same person on the inside.

#5- Having babies with a white man does NOT mean she wants to be white. She can have as many babies as she wants with whoever she wants and get as much surgery as she wants because it's her choice, her body and her money. Do what you do Shar!

First, there is not necessarily a problem with certain types of plastic surgery such as getting rid of stretch marks and returning something to its original state. However, this girl has other issues going on. This is not just about her getting a tummy tuck. This girl is so "Hollywood" that it's ridiculous. Most will not grasp what I'm saying b/c it's too abstract for them to see, however, it's indisputable that this girl was at LEAST five shades darker when she was on Moesha. How come no one remembers that. You can't even dispute it because its plain to see. When she was on the movie GoodBurger, she was also dark with very short hair. When she made a guest appearance as Romeo's date on the STeve Harvey Show, she was again super dark with super short bob as her hairdo. What are we talking about mixed heritage, as the person above commented on? She is not mixed. Unfortunately, she is like a lot of other Blacks who feel that it's not okay just to say they are Black. They have to go adding in all this race and that race. If that's the case, then we are all mixed. But I read the article in Hair magazine where she did say she was mixed and specifically stated that her father is Hispanic and her mother is Native American. So, is she not acknowledging black, as she did not say her father was half Hispanic and Black and / or mother half Indian and Black. Then, she had the audacity to say that's why she has Hispanic hair. No, it's a weave. The interviewer of the magazine also asked her in a very tactful way why doesn't she acknowledge that she's wearing a weave. I can answer that because for her to acknowledge that would mean she would have to also acknowledge that she isn't and does't look as mixed as she thinks she does. Why are blacks still in 2007 tripping on the hair and skin issue. A little light, a little wave in the hair, a little straight nose doesn't at all mean mixed. We of all people should know that because we see people in our own families of varying shades and hair textures and with REAL green eyes who aren't mixed. Let's stop trippin on all these illusions and lies and pretending that it's real! Simply put, Shar is caught into the own illusion that she's created for herself, which is to try to look a little different and be a little different and says she's a little different. Hence, you get color contacts, lighten your skin, put weave in to pass a your own, mixed looking hair, straighten your nose just a little so that it doesn't quite look like anything has been done, and all of the other steps that she has gone through falls right into alignment with a person who can not be themselves. It's not real people. IT'S NOT REAL. Of course, Shar just can't be a regular Black girl, right? She must be cosmopolitan to fit into that Hollywood world. The funny thing is now that reality is bought and sold and everything faux has now become real, I bet there will be some response to my comment where someone will just not get it. You know why many won't get it is because everything false is so much apart of us now that it's standard, and the authentic people have now become the strange ones. It's now strange if you don't have a weave or if you have your real eyes and nails, etc. Yet, many will blast the people on here that make comments about just being natural and keeping it real. But, why is it now so wrong for us to say words like "natural" and "real." Most are so caught up into the same illusion that Shar is that they will defend it to the death and not even see it. Of course, we are all caught up in it to some degree because we live in an imperialistic society where Europeans are the majority. Please realize there are varying degrees and just because someone doesn't wear Kente cloth doesn't mean that it's still okay to change your complexion, wear all these contacts and try to pass yourself off as a "mixed" race. I understand many people don't want to be "Black" but please don't be simple minded enough to not understand that there is a point of taking things too far, and it's not always about judging others as people on here are quick to say in order to justify this behavior. Many times, it's about honest critique of where we are as a people. I mean, blow drying my hair or flat ironing it is one representation of the society we live in and adding 10 feet of long, blonde extensions is yet another extreme. And, it's all about motive because everyone is entitled to express themselves however they choose. There may not be anything wrong with you wearing ten feet of weave if you are expressing your fashion or just need a quick management of your hair, etc. But if you are doing it becasue you think the hair that grows out of your roots from your follicle is inherently inferior to other types of hair and you truly think there is something WRONG with your own hair, then it turns into an entirely different issue and you really need to examine what's going on because there is something completely wrong with that. I don't understand why anyone can not see that PLEASE WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!
