Could the 'B-Day' celebration over for Beyonce, already ?
Maybe.
Though the lead single 'Beautiful Liar' -- a smoldering duet with Spanish pop siren Shakira -- continues to dominate music charts and radio airwaves around the world, there are reports that the actual opus it appears on may be halted from further distribution.
On the specially re-packaged 'B'Day - Deluxe Edition' album and video anthology -- released just three weeks ago -- there's a "new" song titled 'Still in Love (Kissing You)' which is the cause for much controversy for modern day superdiva.
Des'Ree, a former chart-topping diva in her own right (most famous for her signature track 'You Gotta Be'), has legal rights to sue Beyonce and her label Sony Music Group -- ironically the same company the British chanteuse recorded for in the 1990s.
And she's doing just that.
Although the singer's team was able to get permission to use the song from Des'ree's reps, there were specific restrictions, which included not releasing a video for the track and not changing the title of the song, both of which Beyonce has done.
A legal battle has ensued.
Both parties have now agreed to "engage in no further distribution" of the album or video anthology with the song in question, at least until a preliminary injunction hearing May 4, reports MTV Radio Networks.
A rep from Beyoncé's camp told The BV Newswire "there is no truth to this."

I knew it would only be a matter of time before the real Beyonce come to light. Hey Beyonce, you can only fool people for so long before all of your tricks and lies come out.

I am so glad that her ass is coming off the shelves. I am not a hater, I have her albums. But the videos for this re-released album suck. There is no depth or creativity behind them. She said she shot those videos in 2 weeks and that is what it looks like. A bunch of Cheap ass videos. And she always somehow seem to calculate her album releases around the time someone else is suppose to come out. Just like when Latoya was coming out, she hurried into the studio and recorded and release B-Day. Now Kelly is coming out and here she is with a re-release and a whole bunch of videos. I agree with LW the real Beyonce is starting to surface. We are not stupid people nobody is that goody goody.

You say that you are not haters but it sure as hell don't sound that way to me. I have her first album but I'm not a die-hard fan... I just think she's talented and I'm grown enough to be able to give props when props are due. I can understand getting tired of hearing her all the time, but don't sit there and un-necessarily call her all out of her name and start wishing bad things on that woman who has done nothing but positive things. You don't know who the real Beyonce is to say that she's starting to surfice... or any celebrity for that matter, unless you know them personally!!! She works hard and is about business and she understands that not everyone is going to like her all the time or are going to support what she does because you just can't please some HATING A** people sometimes! If you guys grow up and learn to be successful yourselves, it would be much easier to look at someone and be able to appreciate the good qualities and talents that they have. Now, If she did wrongfully use that song, let her suffer the consequences that is meant for her to suffer. Don't worry about it. No one's perfect all the time!!!

I don't care. I'm still mad, she didn't put out the deluxe edition in the first place. I bought the first album. So why should anyone buy the same album twice?!

Go somewhere and find some f**king self-esteem, it's ridiclous how y'all can sit around hating on her so hard. She's a talented person that's taking advantage of all the opportunities she can. As far as Kelly and LaToya go, She don't have to worry about competing with them, she was in a group with them and outshined the both of them. Neither one them are competiton for her. Both of thier CD's was whack as shit LaToya only had one good song. Kelly's last CD was bullshit front to back and i'm sure this one's not going to be much different, because she can't really sing, she spends her time trying to immitate Beyonce and she's no good at it.
I'm not saying Beyonce's perfect (Nobody is) but something's defintely wrong with you if you think she's a terrible person.
She's involved in so many positive things and she gets a lot of slack from ladies who aren't confident about themselves, sitting around happy when they think for a minute she may have slipped up. That's sad, and if you're one of those people You're Sad.

i agree with what shy girl said to a certain extent and i agree with lahelasway its really not that serious for anyone to be going that hard on anybody especially celebrities cause while we are here commenting on what type of person they are they are making money of us and to ms.cutiepants and shygirl is beyonce paying you guys to be her rep if so let me in but who cares if she gets sued or what she does shouldnt the focus be on ourselves and trying to make us as black woman rich and empowered

beyonce stans kill me, they r so quick to defend her, even if she is wrong, yes beyonce had permission to record the song but SHE COULDNT DO A VIDEO OR CHANGE THE TITLE OF THE SONG (thats for mscutiepiepants) no one is hating on beyonce but in the industry there r rules and regulations when using OTHER PPL SONGS, and beyonce did not follow the rules and now she will suffer the consequences, i bet next time she follow the rules and regulations, lol
and those videos beyonce did was a waste of time and money because none of them made sense and they had no concept what so ever, i bet her stans will come in here and say im hating and im jealous of her, lol
