Could the 'B-Day' celebration over for Beyonce, already ?
Maybe.
Though the lead single 'Beautiful Liar' -- a smoldering duet with Spanish pop siren Shakira -- continues to dominate music charts and radio airwaves around the world, there are reports that the actual opus it appears on may be halted from further distribution.
On the specially re-packaged 'B'Day - Deluxe Edition' album and video anthology -- released just three weeks ago -- there's a "new" song titled 'Still in Love (Kissing You)' which is the cause for much controversy for modern day superdiva.
Des'Ree, a former chart-topping diva in her own right (most famous for her signature track 'You Gotta Be'), has legal rights to sue Beyonce and her label Sony Music Group -- ironically the same company the British chanteuse recorded for in the 1990s.
And she's doing just that.
Although the singer's team was able to get permission to use the song from Des'ree's reps, there were specific restrictions, which included not releasing a video for the track and not changing the title of the song, both of which Beyonce has done.
A legal battle has ensued.
Both parties have now agreed to "engage in no further distribution" of the album or video anthology with the song in question, at least until a preliminary injunction hearing May 4, reports MTV Radio Networks.
A rep from Beyoncé's camp told The BV Newswire "there is no truth to this."

To Gwen in Charlotte, if Beyonce and Jay-z are not talking about what we already know then, then I think that they are trying to hide the fact the he has a child out of wedlock, I'm not hating on her, I like her, besides I'm old enough to be her mother. How would you feel if that was your son? Would you want them to ignore your child, because that's what they are doing.
BEYONCE IS ALL ABOUT BEYONCE BELIEVE ME.

I think Beyonce has a beautiful voice but enough already let someone else shine - there are plenty of other females out there that can sing and sound better than Beyonce. Yes, she is talented, can sing, dance, but acting(I THINK NOT)she should leave that for the black actresses that trained for that and have been doing that longer than she has and are absolutely good at it. I just think she should stick to singing and dancing - she is taking it too far. I am not hating because no reason to. We are all gods children and are put on this earth to do what he has planned for us. So I am doing what god has planned for me and happy about that - again i am not a HATER - just voicing my opinion and comments - and please my black people - stop the negative talk to one another - it really isn't necessary because at the end of the day - Beyonce is the one making the money and living large!!!!Lets not hate on each other because of someonelse's talent and fortune. Love one another!!!

A legal dispute is simply a legal dispute. Folks may be her fans and want to defend her, others may not like her and want to bash her... I say, "Whatever..." All that's pointed out here is Beyonce broke solid agreements in a contract and she has to feel legal retribution. Personally, I feel the contending groups will move quickly to settle out of court.
(Now, I will be pissed to see this is quote #100+; this getting more attention than "Vagina Pilot" from two weeks ago.)

All you folks are dissing Beyonce'. Question is: Why? I have heard her music and frankly, I believe she has talent. For those who think that the girl can't sing, you all need to do a realty check on yourselves. She is doing alot better than any of us, so what's the beef all about? The problem with people these days is that they are jealouss for all the wrong reasons and they have very low self-esteem. So, as grown people or should I say so-called adults, we need to grow up and stop acting like we are above this young lady.

Beyonce Has no originality AT ALL!!! Shes Gorgeous and thats about it, her voice is ok and very average!, I have seen better singers in church and yes thier are plenty great ones! If not for her looks she would not be in the media!
