Could the 'B-Day' celebration over for Beyonce, already ?
Maybe.
Though the lead single 'Beautiful Liar' -- a smoldering duet with Spanish pop siren Shakira -- continues to dominate music charts and radio airwaves around the world, there are reports that the actual opus it appears on may be halted from further distribution.
On the specially re-packaged 'B'Day - Deluxe Edition' album and video anthology -- released just three weeks ago -- there's a "new" song titled 'Still in Love (Kissing You)' which is the cause for much controversy for modern day superdiva.
Des'Ree, a former chart-topping diva in her own right (most famous for her signature track 'You Gotta Be'), has legal rights to sue Beyonce and her label Sony Music Group -- ironically the same company the British chanteuse recorded for in the 1990s.
And she's doing just that.
Although the singer's team was able to get permission to use the song from Des'ree's reps, there were specific restrictions, which included not releasing a video for the track and not changing the title of the song, both of which Beyonce has done.
A legal battle has ensued.
Both parties have now agreed to "engage in no further distribution" of the album or video anthology with the song in question, at least until a preliminary injunction hearing May 4, reports MTV Radio Networks.
A rep from Beyoncé's camp told The BV Newswire "there is no truth to this."

Kelly's CD didn't sell so highly because of her relationship to Beyoncé, AND, because, they sound so much alike! Neither of them are the greatest singers, though, they do sing well. But, Beyoncé is so much easier on the eyes.
Also, ugly-ass Jay-z, his big lips, nor any babies of his, didn't have squat to do with Beyoncé's start-rise-nor her continued claim-to-fame! Besides, how can a baby be a secret, if you know about it?

Beyonce is at the top of her game right now and we as black women should applaud her not sit back and pull her apart. Latoya and Kelly are both also talented beautiful people and none of them are any better than the other. These women are rich and successful and shining. So while people are sitting back hating they are continuing to get richer and more successful.Lawsuits always seem to hit a person who is doing well but it doesnt matter because Beyonce will continue to sell and flourish while her couterparts will be still broke and looking for someone else to sue.

i am not a beyonce hater, i am old enough to be her mother. i agree that she has a beautiful voice and can sing just about anything. but with that said if i were her mother i would tell her to take a break for about a year. i don't want her to do everything now fast and in a hurry and burn out or get burnt out. you know the media and public can love you one minute and dog you out the next minute. she needs to know that as long as she can sing like she does she can leave and come back with respect.

I dont know the details of what happened besides what i see here but I dont thnk that people should judge Beyonce or take the side of Desiree until the truth comes out. All I hear anytime beyonce's name is mentioned is nothing but a bunch of hate. I think that all of the haters should use all of their time and energy that they are using to hate on this girl and redirect it in a different direction which basically means work on improving yourself and build up ypur self esteem so that you dont have to come on here and bash someone who is talented, beautiful,ambitious, and smart. The insecurities in all the haters are so evident. If she was some no talent, tone deaf ugly bitch like some other so called singers out there then you would all be happy and yes I am a Beyonce fan because i recognoze talent but more importantly I am a confident woman who does not need to hate on somebody he is talented and succesful because I am confident and beautiful. Maybe all the haters should work on their self-esteem.
