The show may be over, but it's not really over for Tracy Morgan.
Last week, the '30 Rock' star's first season of the ratings challenged ended on a high note.
And it's slated to return in the fall.
But for Bronx native Morgan, the media glare surrounding the Tina Fey-helmed series (which also stars Alec Baldwin) is bittersweet.
He's been ordered to wear a device that can detect alcohol consumption through the skin, reports TMZ.com.
The bracelet, called a SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitoring), was issued by a Los Angeles Superior County Court last weekend to deter Morgan from consuming alcohol.
For 90 days beginning May 25, the device will check Morgan's alcohol levels every 30 minutes. If it determines Morgan has consumed alcohol, his 90 days will begin again; a second offense will result in 30 days in county jail.
The booze bracelet was ordered in conjunction with a DUI conviction and a subsequent probation violation, when he was pulled over for driving erratically last November.
But that's not it.
Morgan, who is the 38-year-old married father of three young men (ages 21, 20, 16), recently had a meltdown during a morning TV show in El Paso, Texas.
"I went to Jaguars ( a local topless club), last night," Morgan said on the ABC affiliate KVIA. "I love the ladies here. Oh, my God! Somebody's going to get pregnant while I'm in town. Two days, watch."
Words CAN NOT explain the out-rage-ous display.
Like his other superstar 'SNL' predecessors Eddie Murphy and Chris Rock, he gained prominence in the local comedy scene before making his big break on the legendary NBC sketch show.
Hope he's literally not following in their footsteps by soon facing paternity drama.

Why does the media always try to make people appear crazy! Clearly he was in character and he didn't say anything outlandish. The interview reflected what his comedy shows are like. His purpose for doin the interview was to promote his comedy show not to promote a forum on aids research or some other serious issue.
Gimme a break. Whatever! Karu you need to work a little harder to find newsworthy stories. I was disappointed. Your headline was a little misleading.

It seems most actors have some kind of addiction, cocaine, alcohol, sexual deviations... most of these people have some real issues. When some of them are making so many people big money everyone looks the other way ( even when they go to get help and only stay a day or two) until it gets to a point of total destruction. I guess that is the curse of a capitalistic society.

Oh com'n he was kidding around. As far as paternity suits go, don't compare Chris to Eddie because there IS no comparison. 13 years later this woman comes out of the woodwork with Chris. Eddie was seeing the Spice Girl when she got pregnant.

Words CAN NOT describe the incredible ignorance of this report. As others have mentioned Tracey Morgan is a great CHARACTER comic. Why read into this interview so literally what you think or assume he meant? As others have mentioned it appears to me that he's simpy being the comic that people expect to hear, nothing more. Not to mention the fact that he was doing a show in the area and his performance on this interview could help to draw people to the show.
