All of those rumors and innuendo about Jay-Z being in a plane crash this morning -- are not true.
The BV Newswire has confirmed -- via an Island Def Jam staffer -- that the hip-hop impresario is "alive and well."
About an hour ago, TMZ.com broke an "exclusive" story that "rumors have been swirling this morning that rapresario Jay-Z (aka Shawn Carter) was in a plane crash this morning."
"A small plane registered to a citizen of Dublin, GA crashed near Asheville, NC in the Smoky Mountains. The FAA tells TMZ that the four-seat propeller plane did go down this morning, but could not provide any additional details."
The site just updated its original story, noting: "TMZ has confirmed that Jay-Z WAS NOT aboard the plane. The three aboard the plane were white men."
Shocked they didn't say it was Michael Jackson.

Why do they keep trying to kill off our stars? Rumors tried to kill Luther years before he died. Rumors have given many people AIDS and now poor Jay-Z. Let them live! Please!!! Don't call someone else death, because it might be yours that you are really calling!

I can not believe this drama has escalated to Jay Z’s a.k.a Shawn Carter’s death. How in the world can people create such false-hood!!! This man has re-created a whole new perception of rap. He is one element of modern rap that has manifested a whole genre of musical talent.
I have children that are sharing in the musical experience I once related to in my adolescence. Rap in the the late 80’s was apart of growing up as a black child. I want my 14, 13, and 8 year old to experience this important part of black culture. Shawn Carter is apart of this saga. Mr. Carter is a role model/poet/businessman in hip-hop and a good example for black youth.
Therefore, I do not understand the purpose in this story!
Please whoever started this drama find some other way to entertain yourself!
This man is a legend (in the work) falsifying his death can cause pandemonium.
