Two weeks ago, 'The BV Newswire' was the first to report of VH1's plans to celebrate the life and times of late TLC member Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes.
Now we learn that that Arista/Legacy will release the group's DVD collection 'Now & Forever: The Video Hits' -- arriving in stores May 15.
Considered a trio for the hip-pop super-group, the compilation recaps ten videos from TLC's biggest chart singles – starting with the string of back-to-back #1 and #2 hits that established them in 1992, 'Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg,' 'Baby-Baby-Baby,' and 'What About Your Friends,' all the way through 2002's 'Girl Talk.'
One of the first acts signed by Antonio "L.A." Reid and Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds to their Atlanta-based LaFace Records in 1991, TLC -- an acronym for 'tender loving care' as well as the group's nicknames: Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Lopes (who died in a car accident five years ago), and Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas -- exploded on the scene a year later with their debut album 'Ooooooohhh...On the TLC Tip.'
With a solid decade of hit singles and breakthrough videos, and global sales of more than 25 million albums – 20-times platinum in the U.S. alone, TLC was recognized as the biggest selling female trio of all time.
Special 'Now & Forever' features include behind the scenes footage, and a photo gallery.
The collection is being released in conjunction with the 90-minute documentary 'VH1 Rock Docs: Last Days Of Left Eye,' premiering May 19 at 9 PM ET/PT.

This is good to hear! I was and still am a fan of them and was crushed when Left Eye passed. I'm glad they are remembering her and putting out their hit songs and videos at the same time. And I almost 4got about the contest they had for the new member!? I didn't think they needed a new member but where in the heck did the winner go?

I wished they had continued making music with O'So. TLC only released four cd's in 10 years. Left Eye was my favorite member of the group, but life goes on. Lisa died, but the group didn't have to die. TLC was not the first group to have a member die.

Can't wait to see your show May 19th, know it is going to be great. My question is what happen to the group
after O'So Crispy won the contest? I have been looking
for some type of c.d. or anything.
