Ciara is, indeed, the new spokesmodel for Roc-a-Wear clothing line.
A record label rep for the chart-topping singer/songwriter confirmed to The BV Newswire that 'Goodies' singer will be the face of the fall 2007 Rocawear Ladies brand.
The Atlanta-bred 'Goodies' singer follows in the footsteps of former supermodel Naomi Campbell and red-hot actress Zoe Saldana, who previously shilled for the Jay-Z-owned fashion line.
The new campaign, entitled 'I Will Not Lose,' will feature video testimonials from individuals who overcame different obstacles. 'Virgina Tech' newspaper's editor Amy Steele will reportedly be featured as a profiled participant. Sought after fashion photographer Mark Seliger has been tapped to lens it.
"I love Rocawear," Ciara said in an interview. "The clothes are so cute. The stuff is great. I am so happy to be able to do the campaign."
There's more exposure from where that came from.
Rumor has it that Ciara has been tapped to make her feature film debut in a gospel-based film project.

Why does everybody think Jay-Z is going after all the young chicks? He is just being a business man. But, he did pursue Beyonce' at a young age, so maybe he is trying to do it even more younger. What a sick perv!!! LOL... But, I am glad he is giving Ciara to show what she got. She's movin up in the biz!!!

Ciara is doing her thing. That's my girl. I hope this really works out for her. And even tho I don't really like Rihanna cause she seems a lil fake I think she would do good with it too. And I don't know why y'all keep bringing Beyonce into every little thing that has something to do with Jay Z. It's business, not personal. So what does Beyonce have to do with anything?

Ok first of all let's talk about Jay-z. Now most do not know that he is a part of a subliminal conspiricy goin on in the music world. Ok we all know he uses the pyramid shaped symbol as his "The Rock" symbol well sadly that symbol is the same symbol for kalabia. Kalabia means the power to be greater than human. Now he already wants everybody to call him jay-hova but any God fearing person can see that he is saying Jehova as in God. Ok this man is not God by no means and also he practices lucifernizm wich involves using that symbol he uses and delivering a message that there is no God. Also on his black album there is a song called lucifer wich if played backwards says 666 murder murder Jesus. Also the chorus says lucifer dawn of the morning I'm gonna chase you off of Earth but the actual saying is lucifer son of the morning. Why would he use dawn when in a tricky manner see the italian mafia uses don as saying head in charge ruler a great one. So in turn Jay-z has given more than simple power to satan matter fact glorifying him calling him don well he spells it dawn. Just food 4 thought and its deepr than that but I am not going to typee all night about how things are being secretly put into this what we call hip hop music. And Ciara well she has been tricked and probably can't even recognize how. If you dont agree go define kalabia it will explain and you will see exactly what is going on.

I personally don't feel that Ciara would make a good rep. for roacwear. I'm just not fond of people who seem to make it in the entertainment industry based soley on looks because Ciara truly is not that talented.Her singing is at best a C- .She dances no better than any young lady you know or that is in your own family, and now they want to put her in a movie--- cmon man give me a break.
I know this might sound as though i'm a hater, but nothing could be further from the truth. I would just like to see people who have been trying hard, people who have been training and taking classes, people who have sacraficed their lives to make it in that business actually make it; and i just don't think Ciara or J-LO or Ashley Simpson OR Coco (ICE Ts wife) or Paris Hilton or any of those other witches fit the bill.
