Break out the champagne.
Shar Jackson has gotten a new job...
On television...
Network Primetime Television!!!
For ABC's new reality series 'Ex-Wives Club,' the former star of 'Moesha' will play co-host for the empowering show which encourages real people who have undergone traumatic divorces to learn how move on with their lives.
Though she was never married to Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline, Jackson (who is the mother of four children, two with him) is well versed in relationship woes.
The hour-long, five-episode series, filmed in Palm Springs and on location across the country, will feature one man and one woman each week, all with one thing in common -- a devastating divorce. It premiers May 28 at 9:00 p.m. ET.
Ashley Hamilton's ex-wife Angie Everhart and Donald Trump's former spouse Marla Maples joins Jackson for this exciting new take on reality.
According to the network, each episode will trail divorcees and the "XWC" team of Angie, Shar and Marla as they take the journey to let go of the past, rebuild their self-esteem and venture out into the world again.
Segments will show the participants getting rid of things that remind them of their former partners; indulging in the ultimate fantasy of revenge by doing something to get even with their exes; and undergoing makeovers in either their physical appearance or professional lives.
'Ex-Wives Club' will also feature renowned life coach and bestselling author Debbie Ford ('Spiritual Divorce: Divorce as a Catalyst for an Extraordinary Life'), who will meet with the participants one on one and give them the guidance they need to move on.
The show is helmed by Andrew Glassman, whose credits include 'Average Joe,' 'Three Wishes,' and 'National Bingo Night.'
Jackson, who has been making the tabloid and talk show circuit since the Spears/Federline scandal broke, is reportedly on the brink of releasing a music project -- with a new outlook on life and with the upcoming premiere of the show. The Boston native plans to open up to the primetime television world about her high profile break-up with Federline, hoping to help those going through similar hardships in their lives.
The actress/aspiring singer, who recently underwent plastic surgery, has two new films due out this year: 'I Do...I Did,' a dark romantic comedy, and 'Toxic,' a drama/thriller.
Her next project, the comedy 'Let's Ride,' is currently in pre-production. She has also signed with an independent record label and is back in the recording studio working on her debut solo album, to be released later this year.

I see all that plastic surgery, just made her stupid. She only did that, to try and get Mr Spears back. Why would you want someone back who walked out on you and your children? Go Figure... she is beautiful and she has a sense of humor. The one thing that may be a turn off for most men, is the number of kids. But I hope she will find love soon.

She might be called a "sale out" for now, but at the end of the day, (or when all that so-called glamor is GONE). Those same people will remind her who she is and what color. And they will point her in the direction from which she came, saying, "go back to your own people, the fun is over". It's called: using one for what he/she have, NOT truly enjoying her for who she is. But she don't see or understand this just yet. Nor will she listen to anyone bringing this message. She is self programmed into thinking that this type of message only serves as a type of racism toward others, when it's not. It's just a mere response to racism shown from others.

Come on! I am sick of Reality TV. What advice could Shar Jackson give someone whi is going through a divorce? She wasn't even married to K-Fed, just his ex-lover and Baby Mama! I am surprised that she would even be considered for a position on a show such as this. And who is the father of her other 2 children? I admit she does look better but as a female, I'll watch it to see what advice she will have to give but after 5 minutes, I'll probably have enough. I think the show would have been better with some real life divorced women, someone who has seriously been through one, and could offer some advice. How about a show that can get these GAS PRICES down? Now, I'll watch that. But in the end she'll be going to the bank......
