While many are still wondering what's become of his long going child pornography case, R. Kelly is still going strong on the music scene.
His latest album, 'Double Up,' debuted on 'Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart in the No. 1 position, selling 385,930 copies in its first week of release.
The double-disc set features the multiple Grammy Award winning crooner collaborating with hip-pop's biggest names, including Snoop Dogg, Nelly, Usher, Kid Rock, Chamillionaire, T.I., T-Pain, Ludacris, Keyshia Cole and Swizz Beatz, among others.
The set features the radio and club hits 'I'm A Flirt (Remix)' and 'Same Girl,' along with the poignant track 'Rise Up,' dedicated to the victims of the Virginia Tech massacre.
'Double Up' marks Kelly's ninth project for Jive Records, which released his 1993 solo debut '12 Play.'
According to a Sony BMG rep, Kelly has amassed career sales of more than 36 million albums worldwide. Sony BMG is the parent company of Jive.
As a songwriter and producer, Kelly has crafted hits for the likes of Celine Dion, Diddy, Jennifer Lopez, B2K, Mary J. Blige, Aaliyah, Young Jeezy, Changing Faces, Fat Joe and the Isley Brothers, among others.

all those people judging and downing him need to stop. although we know that "if" he indeed did this crime willingly and knowingly then he should be prosecuted just like any other. we also know that in these days young girls and boys are growing up hot frome all the influence and conception of thinking "GET MONEY". inwhich in this case he has plenty of. So many young women are lying about their age to get what they think is proper. Parents can only take the blame for so much, ask them this. Did you ever consider asking your child where she's been all that night? Being that it's R.Kelly they'll tell it quick. Young women lying about their age is the #1 reason for are falling men in prison for a rape charge. To the comment of teachers messing with students. that's a whole other subject, they knew better they were there to teach these kids. This is just another talented brother trying to be taken down. The sad thing is by his own people.

This guy belongs in prison plain and simple! We definitely need to set higher standards - but than if we did already - perhaps we would not be the laughing stck of the world!

I don't care how talented he is. He's a pedophile !!!! 12 play was the first and only R Kelly music I will ever buy. How can anyone condone what he did. It may be partly the parents fault thats true. But he is a grown man he knew better. I lost my respect for him when he married Alliyah when she was 15 and he was 27.

I love me some R.Kelly, always have since he was with Public Announcement. I hated to hear about the sex scandal. I hope he has changed his ways and realizes he has a lot to lose, such as his freedom.
As to his music, I say keep it moving Kelz!

R. Kelly is very talented. Unfortunately, this song and video represent many derogatory stereotypes all rolled into one package. When talented people shortchange their talents and don't have the courage or foresight to be original, what can we expect from the rest of the industry, especially when the audience doesn't demand better?
As far as the court cases are concerned, wait for the actual evidence to come out and stop condemning or defending him based upon gossip, innuendo, or personal like or dislike. We've come a long way into assimilating into society in negative ways. One of the main ways is that we've forgotten, as a people, the history of being condemned based upon nothing more than speculation and "feelings"

In the words we all know and should be aware of....Only God can judge me and he is the only one that R. will have to answer to. He is blessed as a writer and producer and he will go far as long as he realizes who the true King is in this life and after. Sing your songs like its nobody business and may you have favor and mercy from God on the day of judgement. As for me I will continue to listen to your songs and praying for you.
