Call off the A.P.B.!!!
Maia Campbell has been found.
I think.
The Missing In Action actress has reportedly surfaced in Los Angeles, reports 'Philadelphia Daily News.'
Last month, stories spread like wildfire about the former 'In The House' star and daughter of late best-selling novelist Bebe Moore Campbell skipping town after a Philadelphia-area man filed a police report alleging that she stole his Jeep.
There was also a report that the 30-year-old beauty was present during a recent police sweep of a drug house on the 6300 block of Chew Avenue.
"[She] still manages to keep her nails and feet done and is still very pretty," a West Coast source told the newspaper. "She really needs to go to rehab based off what I saw with my own eyes."
'The News' also noted that Campbell hasn't returned multiple messages left on her cell phone in recent weeks.
Campbell, who also appeared in music videos for Tyrese and Lil' Kim, is believed to be the subject of her mother's last book '72 Hour Hold,' which deals with mentall illness.
In an interview with AOL Black Voices, one of her last, the NAACP Image Award winning author commented, "watching my loved one become violent and an incoherent stranger certainly tested my faith. My very close family member has bipolar disorder, which is a mood disorder - a disease of the brain."
Last year, Campbell became fodder for internet chatroom and black gossip blogs when an alleged videoclip of her naked and singing surfaced.
The "alleged" videoclip is below.

I have read about Maia for the last few weeks and what we must all understand, you can't help someone unless they are willing to help themselves and ask for help. You can help all you want to, only to get your feelings hurt or be let down. I have loved ones who have addictions and it hurts my heart. I continue to give them love and a ear to vent in, but until they get tired of being tired, your just talking to the choir.

WHY DO SOME FOLKS THINK THAT HER CO-STARS AND FRIENDS NEED TO HELP HER. THIS IS SO PERSONAL AND THEY MAY HAVE TIRED LONG BEFORE NOW.WHEN A PERSON IS IN THIS STATE OF MIND THEY DON'T WANT YOUR HELP,THEY WANNA GET HIGH OR DO WHAT THEY DO. I THINK WE SHOULD JUST PRAY LIKE WE DO FOR OUR OWN FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND TRY TO BE THERE WHEN OR IF THEY FINALLY REACH OUT TO US. IN THE MEANTIME- IT IS WHAT IT IS! THAT'S THE WAY OF THE WORLD...

The drug use and naked videos are not the root cause of the problem. The root cause is the fact that she is bipolar. This is a serious mental problem that is treatable with medication and counseling. Problem is the person is usually in denial and won't do the necessary two things needed to control this diease. Because of her age we can only hope that she will come around and do these things because her illness won't go away or get better by itself. It will only get worst.

There really should be some laws to protect celeb's. Even though this video isn't showing anything crazy besides her singing without a top on, it is still embarrassing. I can't imagine what she must feel like. The media is so cruel. They are exploiting this young black woman, it's ridiculous. They have no sympathy for this girl. She allegedly suffers from a mental illness and recently lost her mom. The media has no respect for her late mohter either, who happens to be one of the most significant literary femle writers in Black history. They are exploiting her just like Brittany Spears, this sh*t needs to stop!

Imus you are just another ignorant racist who knows nothing about black people, culture or community. before you comment know real facts, it is whites who are the majority of people on drugs, welfare and suffering from mental illness, and shooting up the damn schools. It just that the white media chooses to showcase those of color ia a bad light. When you have have your lindsay's and paris' driving around drunk putting people's lives in danger "that's hot". Grow up and look in your own backyard before you comment on someone else's. As for Maia, hold your head ma your brains are in it.
