It always amazes me how some of us black folk get on our soap box about homosexuality using the same tactics that white racists used against us.

Now some of you self-righteous brothers and sisters claim that heterosexuals don't proclaim their orientation to everyone. Apparently you have never seen videos on BET or how some folks act at the clubs.

But apparently that is okay because you are heterosexual so stuff like that is ALLOWED for you.

When some of you folks who can quote Scripture backwards and forwards start protesting rap videos that defame black women and portray black men as thugs, black oriented channels that feature phony charlatan preachers (yes I am talking about you BET) then we can talk.

And when some of you Biblically inclined folks stop fornicating, drinking and all that other nasty stuff you know you do, then you can come to me and mine and criticize us for sinning.

hotep ( taht means peace) so many people in other people's bedroom or love nest is NOT news worthy. If we as the first civilized people would revert back to Be. Do. Have. and address life changing issues like stopping the war, educating truth, or putting aside our pride and working for the good of hued manity maybe this soddam-and gommarah trip becomes a dead issue and end this stoopid discussions. work on healing ourselves for the legacy of our children would again flourish our communites once again. the signs for peace and prosperity is within our grasp. reach and teach for it. I think being Gay is that person's choice, The bedroom is a secret sacred place. I don't think people in the Gay life should rub everyone's nose in it. If they think it's important to be Gay, then be dignified enough to make it your own business and not push everyone around
just because they don't accept you. It makes Gays look and act like that secretly an spiritually they are really wrong. I like ice cream, but I don't walk around with a sign on my saying "If you don't like ice cream, you don't like me. Gays, please get it together and stop being so insecure about your lifestyle.
If you're gay, so be it. Make it your own business
and stop screaming press all the time.
Be yourself and be proud. Leave the straights alone to be proud of who they are as well.

Th very first time I saw Russ on def comedy jams, I told my girl, "that dude looks gay" and you MEN out there know what I'm talking about. Not sure how to explain it, but real men I think have "GAY-DAR" and we can spot a brother who really aint, a mile away. And by the way, NO! being gay aint alright, check your local bible.

I think Rob needs to read the story of Sodom and Gomorrah again. Yes it's in the old testament but does Jesus change it in the new testament like he does such things like "an eye for an eye" don't think so. No it was wasn't entirely about homosexuality (but still included)but sin itself. As for the women talking in church didn't Paul say these were "his thoughts, not straight from God. Anyway, I agree that homosexuality is wrong but it is not up to us to judge them. Being gay is there own personal choice and all we can do is pray for their salvation!

Why would Russell Simmons dignify a comment like that if it wasn't true? I agree, Black gay men and women must be treated with dignity and respect. It's not about the sexual act, It's about the love and loyalty gay's have for one another. When will black straight america wake up? Why is it that BLACK WOMEN the # 1 victims of this deadly virus, HIV/AIDS? Well I have the answers. After reading some of the notes I have come to the conclusion that BLACK STRAIGHT and I do mean straight very loosely, promote HATE in the name of GOD, Jesus, Ali, Whoever you worship. But the sad rerality is, Most dont even know god, They use the scriptures to promote hate. When they don't even know the almighty themselves! Secondly, How do u know if Russell Simmons is completely str8? As far as Im concerned, Its very possible that he has had a homosexual experience with another man. Most DL men say they are totally Str8, But they get screwed by dragqueen in the weeee hours of the night. And they justify it by this way of thinking, If I dont use condoms, Then I'm not really gay, Or, If I let a transexual screw me, Because she has brerast and a womanly figure then im not really gay. Which is total BULLSHIT. And then these very same men go home to there wives and girl friends and make fun of homosexuals! And the women laugh as if what they are saying are really funny, But what the women/wife/girlfriend fail to realize that the behavior he joked and critized is what he just got through doing with a "Homosexual". And transmit the virus to women because in his dillusional rabbit ass mind he is pretending to be str8, All to fit in the "Norms" of society. Stop putting these men or so called men on peddle stools. You don't knonw them. You dont know what they are capabale of doing sexually! Stop the hate against homosexuals, And stop using the bible as your reason to hate. Stop promoting hatred!
