Kimora Lee Simmon's reality TV show that The BV Newswire was the first to report on has finally got a premiere date underway.
On Aug. 5, 'Kimora: Life in the Fab Lab,' will make its debut on The Style Network at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
As previously reported, cameras will go behind-the-scenes of the high-octane life of the ghetto fabulous fashion model, hip-hop mogul and beloved mother.
Maybe we can get a slice of what life is really like with her and her newest beau Djimon Honsou.
Wouldn't that be something?

After watching a few minutes of the show..I started to become a bit irritated by her brash and annoying behavior. Loud and obnoxious are 2 traits most ppl can't stand in others. I think Kimora watched some reality tv before she began production on her own show, because some of her terminology during the one on one interviews seem like they've been said before. Recycled behavior and material.. Meaning....I think it's a show for her to get some attention..and maybe to even seem as if there is more to her than meets the eye. I don't think there is anything deep about her. I think the show will only let the world see how annoying and superficial she really is. And this has nothing to do with race..

first of all stop hating on kimora! yes she is harsh but u see where not excepting failure got her! all successful companies are run by go-getters! just b/c shes a woman doesnt mean she has to be passive about her work. im proud of her. proud shes a women of color on top of her game. the fact that she isnt sitting on her couch eating bonbons while the maids raise her kids lets me know shes one heck of a woman. she learned from russel and yes he is why she is where she is, she never denies that. as far as there marriage goes its thier own business. 51% dont work out anyway. they lasted quite some time and are still close. also if u pay attention she states that she has given all her employees a chance. a chance they wouldnt have elsewhere due in part to thier youth. and why does she have to be called ghetto. so if a black woman (she is half) doesnt speak hte way white people speak she's ghetto. oh grow up WE DONT HAVE TO BE LIKE EACH OTHER!!! hello its 2007, by now u must have realized we're all different. GO HEAD KIMORA KEEP WORKIN IT OUT I LOVE BABY PHAT.

You people are all a bunch of haters. KLS is fabulous. I appreciate the fact that her staff is young and multicultural, she's giving them a chance to succeed. Now, Nicci, KLS is not a foreign white woman, she is an american woman of mixed heritage. for your info, Russell picked her up at a very young age, she took advantage of being around a very powerful man, and like babyface's ex, she turned it into her own empire. would you prefer that she had stayed home in the background and not do her? Her and russell have a great relationship, beautiful children and they are just trying to keep it real focused for you narrow minded peopple. she's raunchy, but she's right, and sometimes truth hurts. she also knows how to soften things up--she has a soft spot for the people around her. very inspiring--the success part.

Regardless of how she got her money she's got and using it. If any of you had the oppertunity to be in her shoes you would in a heart beat. Yes, she is loud and so are some sista's. Karl Lagerfeld liked her fat nect and all. Don't heat the playa heat the game. regardless of who picked her as a player.

Kimora Lee is black..she started as a model at a young age and attracted the attention of old man Simmons..so who is to say that she did not have some money before her marriage..sure she has more now..too many jealous women who did not plan for their future..Kimora is a beautiful black woman and knows what sells...did you ever think that she portrays the personality that is going to sell..don't hate!

WHAT IS WRONG WITH BLACK PEOPLE?!!! THIS RACE IS GOING DOWNHILL, FAST! YOUR DAMNED IF YOU DO, DAMNED IF YOU DON'T. IF KIMORA WAS TO SIT ON HER ASS, NOT DOING ANYTHING PRODUCTIIVE, YOU WOULD SAY SHE'S MAKING THE BLACK RACE LOOK BAD. WHEN SHE'S SUCCESSFUL, YOU HATE ON HER. HOW DOES ONE POSSIBLY WIN? YOU NEVER, EVER SEE PEOPLE OF OTHER RACES TEARING EACH OTHER DOWN FOR BEING SUCCESSFUL. THEY EXPECT SUCCESS FROM EACH OTHER. WHAT IS WRONG WITH US? THIS IS NOT SLAVERY ANYMORE PEOPLE. WE DON'T HAVE TO BE JEALOUS AND BRING EACH OTHER DOWN TO IMPRESS MASSA'. I WANT NOTHING MORE THAN TO SEE MY RACE COME OUT ON TOP AND BE KNOWN FOR SOMETHING OTHER THAN SPORTS AND RAP. WE ALL NEED TO ASPIRE TO BE LIKE KIMORA(MINUS THE LOUD, ARROGANT, BOSSY ATTITUDE).

I just hate how everyone calls her a mogul or business woman. She was just an average model until she hooked up with Russell I mean come on he hooked her up. If she had the business skills everyone give her credit for she would have been in business before he bank rolled her fabricated success. I mean she goes to the meeting and says ok I want this and I want this and this and this and that and send pass Russell and he tips his hat.

i persoally watch the episodes & the reruns when time permits. i'm a kimora fan & although she is flaunting her wealth, i feel that like her book says she's trying to empower young women to become bigger & better. Oprah does the same thing, but yes maybe with more class at times. we all are different & project a point, opinion or way of life differently. Rappers & ball players (ex. mtv cribs & music videos) are also flaunting their wealth, but no one's bashing them on other sites. either watch it or don't, but do we have to bash her for her choices when we don't personally know her?
