I'll be completely honest. i don't think Beyonce sucks at acting but because getting an oscar is a competition on who gave the best performance in potraying their character...and Beyonce was good, but not excellent. i don't even believe she should have been nominated for best actress, perhaps best supporting actress, but not best actress. Jennifer Hudson played a brilliant role and it was her debut as an actress. The movie focused around her character. She got her Oscar and she deserved it.However I also believe she should have been nominated for best actress and not Beyonce.

I don't even know why she made a comment like that b/c Beyonce is not the greatest to ever act/sing/model/write!!!

I mean don't get me wrong the girl is talented, but she is just not as grand in everyone eyes as she is in her bandmember's eyes.

I am kind of tired of seeing her everywhere. She needs to take a break and let other's have the opportunity to get their shine on. Beyonce is not the greatest!!!
she's one of the best live performer's I would give her that, but she is not the greatest singer/actress/writer and Kelly needs to know that!!!!!

and in my eyes she did not deserve the nomination with all the other talented women that played their roles better than she played hers and didn't get recognized either. Welcome to Hollywood!!!!!!!!

I think that Beyonce did a excellent job in Dreamgirls, and we know that Kelly takes up for her no matter what, but J.Hudson was soooooooo deserving of the Oscar. J. Hudson did her thing. It was so refreshing to see the spotlight on someone other than Beyonce. Beyonce is beautiful, sexy & talented, but enough is enough. I'm ready for the new "IT " girl.

An Ocar worothy performance is one that is not just good but stands out. When I was watching "Dreamgirls" I never once forgot that Beyonce was Beyonce. I felt that Jennifer Hudson studied her character and made the audience connect with what she was feeling. I had the same feeling when I was watching Jamie Fox in "Ray". Jamie Fox captured the audience with his breathtaking performance. Beyonce was good, but nothing she did deserved an Oscar.

Ok, everytime I see Kelly, she is "promoting" her home girl, but I never see Beyoncee in interviews, etc, what have you returning the favor. If Kelly were smart she would be promoting her own ventures and steppin out of Beyoncee's/Matthew Knowles shadow.

I love me some Miss Kelly but that comment was just plain silly. Beyonce wasn't nominated because she wasn't acting. Don't care what anyone says, I know folks are gonna call me a hater, but the role was not a stretch for Beyonce, she is self centered and will do whatever she thinks will get her the most attention and doesn't care who she walks on to get there. Just like the character in the movie. The Oscar went to the deserving one.

Kelly, stop taking the back seat to Beyonce and be your own woman, you are just as beautiful, and personally I feel that you are a better singer, To say that Beyonce
was robbed of and Oscar, look at how her family has robbed you, take your exposure and stop bragging on Beyonce all the time , Brag on you and what you
have accomplished. She sell sex, that's the botton line
Oscar that is a big joke.. She can't act and when she sings she screams, yes, she sell sex and her parents are 100% selling their child to the devil for a dollar.

Kelly needs to keep that one to herself - she makes herself look as ignorant as she sounds in interview situations with that silly statement. There is NO WAY Beyonce deserved an Oscar over Jennifer in that movie. Sheesh. I heard Kelly's album is good - she should focus on promoting that and not playing the "Defender of Beyonce" role that she's been playing her whole life.
