I think Beyonce was out performed and out song by Jennifer Hudson, when I was watching that movie I felt the chills going up and down my spine when Jennifer sang. Let's face it after seeing that movie I knew a new diva had been born.

Kelly is Beyonce girl so thats not surprising she would say that.I Think Beyonce did a good acting job but it was Jennifer Hudson show she was the dream girl not Beyonce by the way Beyonce won enough awards for her talent its time for a fresh face and that face is Jennifer Hudson.

I completely agree with Teja.... and beyonce' really IS NOT the best.. I know plenty of females that can sing,dance,write, .... just have way more talent than her... I'm not hating on her she is good but beyonce' is extremely overrated.

To be honest, I just watched Dreamgirls over the weekend, and I must say that Jennifer Hudson and Eddie Murphy were the stars in the movie. For this to be Ms. Hudson first film she was fantastic and I am looking forward to seeing her in more. She has a voice to want for and she was singing her butt off in Dreamgirls. It seems Beyonce was put to the front because she is the "typical" woman they feel men want to see but Hudson showed her that bigger is better in many ways. Kudos to Hudson for a well deserved Oscar and I look forward to your cd and upcoming movie.

It will be a good day when Kelly stands up and becomes her own person. Is she going to spend the rest of her life kissing ass ? No one should be surprised that she said this...what else is she going to say ?

I don't see Beyonce's role is Dreamgirls as that much of a stretch of who she really is. Beyonce was really hating on Jennifer Hudson and every interview she gave was an example of how jealous and petty she truly is.

I don't see how anyone in their right mind would think that Beyonce deserved an Oscar for Dreamgirls. Perhaps Kelly didn't understand that Oscar is given for excellence in acting, not for being the one with the most lines. Excellence in acting involves making people see, not you, but the character you are portraying. When I watched the movie, I didn't see Deena, I saw Beyonce. Anika Noni Rose made me see, not a 34 year old Tony Award winning actress, but a naive young girl who evolved into a mature young woman. Jennifer Hudson WAS Effie. That is why she won the Oscar. In an interview with Cathy Hughes on TVOne, Beyonce said she saw the movie and didn't recognize herself. Until I read Kelly's comment, I thought that was the dumbest thing I'd ever heard, but Kelly's statement comes pretty close.

I think Kelly was just being the supportive friend that she is, and her comment made publication. Come on people how many of us tell our friends and family BS that ain't really true just to make them feel good or boost their confidence. (LIKE ohh girl my baby can sing, then they get on American Idol sounding a mess). Kelly is a real friends despite what people says or thinks about B. That is her girl, No matter what! I like that.
AND the movie was okay it wasn't even that grand. All the women did their thang on Dream Girls for real, but the most powerful one won. Hurray to Jen! B had to learn sometimes things don't always go her and she will live. Nuff said.

yea, Beyonce is a great performer and I love 98% of her work although I'm not sure her performance deserved and award. Her original song "Listen" should have gotten one.. just not her dry ass performance.
