Garcelle Beauvais is the cover girl of the August edition of Playboy magazine, expected to hit newsstands this week.
The bronze beauty, known primarily for her acting work on the TV sitcom 'The Jamie Foxx Show' and on the drama 'NYPD Blue,' is also pregnant and expecting twins later this year.
Talk about perfect timing.
Beauvais, who is married to talent agent Mike Nilon, is expecting two sons to be born this November, according to published reports. The twins are the first children for the interracial couple, who have been married since 2001.
Beauvais is already the mother of a 16-year-old son (Oliver) from a previous marriage.
Born in St. Marc, Haiti the screen siren's original claim to fame came in the form of fashion modeling. Signed to the Ford Modeling Agency at 17, she has graced the pages of Essence and Ebony and appeared in catalogs for Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom., along with print advertisment campaigns for brands such as AVON, and Clairol.
The Haitian sensation is also known for her parts in music videos for Luther Vandross and R. Kelly -- her role as Mr. Biggs' woman Lila Hart in the surreal and sad 'Down Low (Nobody Has to Know)' video is classic.
Over a decade later, the 40-year-old MILF (an acronym for mothers who are sexually attractive) is baring her all in a tasteful Playboy pictorial -- and is looking better than some women half her age.
Wowza!
On the acting front, Beauvais will next be seen in the thriller 'I Know Who Killed Me,' starring Lindsay Lohan and Julia Ormond, due out this summer.

Chris it is refreshing to hear another smart brother agree with me. Lately all you hear is people supporting these women and calling us true brothers haters. These women worships the ground their lovers walk on. I see right through this. I don't care how they down the brothers but there ain't a whiteman better than me. It always leads back to sex to me. Just what is it they admire. You can't sell me the goods that any white man is so pure and high mighty. In my opinion these women are hook on a different kind of crack. They have been thoroughly blown away. She shedded her soul and dignity. In my opinion I call that weak. They critcise blackmen and stereo type us to feed their own weakness. I'm too smart to fall for it and they hate me.

As far as telling a brother he needs to step up his game stow it. Any strong Blackman knows who they are. Why should any Brother take that from these women when they have to deal with these whitemen. These women are just supporting their masters. I wouldn't pay no attention to them because they are just as good as on crack. As far as the brothers out there dealing with this racist climate to make a good living don't let these women tell you that you aren't worth anything. Every person goes to the same place. I don't care if you are the President of the United States. No Blackwoman is ever going to make me believe a whiteman is better than me. I would just simply tell them to kiss my you know what.

Wow, it is just so sad to see that another woman feels the need to bear it all for the world to see. Why now? I mean she has been a successful actress and is now a mother of 3!!! Does she really think her son will be proud of this "work of art"? Think about ladies and gentlemen. How would you feel if your mother exposed herself in this manner and your friends could see her naked for a measly $5.00? I think society has sunk to its ultimate low when we can consider this a form of fashion to expose oneself. This is just like when Halle did her naked sex scene in. All of a sudden she wins an award for being naked when her previous work was more outstanding. WAKE UP!!!! How long will we continue to subject ourselves to such low standards that other people have set upon us?

Utterly ridiculous, how are her children going to feel when all the kids at school have seen thier mothers coochie. I can`t even imagin the embarassment. And then we wonder why they call black females bitches and ho`s. W ell she just prostituted hersesf for Hugh Hefner, If the shoe fits then walk around in it. It`s a shame that people will do anything for money. As the bible says the love of money is the root of all evil. And an "intelligent" successful black woman with a family showing her vagina to the entire world is evil, I don`t care how you spin it. She needs Jesus as do we all but some more than others. God bless you all

I think it's excellent...showing a Black woman at her sexy. I'm sure anyone would do it if they're asked. I think she's beautiful and I'd pose for it too. It's just a naked body. People need to stop being so uptight...

Garcelle Beauvais is obviously a beautiful sister. But she doesn't need to show her ass(etts) before the world. I guess that doesn't mean much to those that like to read Playboy, and other trash. This world makes a woman think that she has to take her clothes off to show themselves.

I guess no one would have had a problem if she was spread eagle on the cover of Vibe, or XXL..as long as she keeps it "black" right? More and more I am seeing small minds being let out to wander alone, I guess those same people don't have a problem with BET's Uncut, where they 'showcase' black strippers right... but wait.. that's ok.. right? I mean they are keeping it "black" right? Talk about sexploitation.. and in our 'own back yards' but hey... as long as it's on BET instead of MTV then it's ok..right?
