Kimora Lee Simmons is seriously looking for a fresh start.
The over-the-top fashion model-turned merchandise mogul is not only launching her own Style network reality show, 'Life in the Fab Lane' (premiering Aug. 5), she's also looking for new digs.
According to the New York Daily News, the statuesque Baby Phat Fashions empress is trying to sell the palatial palace she shared with her soon-to-be ex-husband Russell Simmons. Though separated, she and the hip-hop impresario are still business partners.
Their sprawling Saddle River, N.J. estate, once featured on 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' and MTV's 'Cribs' is on sale for $23 million.
With 10 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms and two pools, the French-style manor has a cobblestone driveway, sits on four acres that include statues, a 15-seat theater, wine cellar, exercise gym, dining room with gold-leafed ceiling.
There's even a bathroom with a marble and gold toilet.
Talk about sitting pretty.
The Simmonses -- who announced their separation last year -- bought the home in 2001 for $13 million.
Although the mansion is repped by luxury real estate powerhouse Prominent Properties Sotheby's International Realty, there haven't been any takers since it went on the market March 13.
"We are looking for a serious buyer for this property," broker Stephanie Rosken said.
At $23 million smackaroos, she better be.

Kimora is a broad from another breed and simmons should
have known that she would not stick with him. As soon as things got the way she wanted them then she, was ready to bail out of the marriage so she can really be the (bth) she is and came here to the states to find some nice hunk like simmons to mess over take his money and do her own thing, which is just what she ready to do. Prove me

Kimora and Russell do not live in the real WORLD with the poor people like us jo-bloos, so even if they get 23 million will this bring them happiness? I'm not saying you must be poor to be happy but let's be re- alistic, however in their world maybe it is.

I think that the decision was a mutual one and as long as they are happy with the situation no one else matters. As far as the "bad sex" comment the sex couldn't have been too bad they have 2 daughters. She was probably just mad.

I have heard the story about this situation on there relationship. If the story is true, it explains why she hasn't went to the media with take on the marriage. And why she and soon to be ex-husband want to sell the manison.

She is a cute, fine girl but, all the work on her face and her attitude makes her ugly. You can be rich and pretty but, still be human and nice to others or your man will leave you.

I think WE, as a people, go into marriages to nonchalantly these days. Too many of us go into the marriage with DIVORCE in the back of our minds. As long as we keep DIVORCE as an option, we always have an EASY-OUT when the going gets tough. For the sister who said that 'all women want is GOOD SEX', I feel sorry for you. As long as you hold to that train of thought, you will never have anything more than a superficial relationship. And, please hear this, 'WHAT GOES AROUND...COMES AROUND'. I'm not 'HATIN' on this Ms. Simmons but, in time, her beauty will fade. In time, her physical prowesss will start to slip and if she doesn't grow up, she will find herself all alone. I happen to have enough money ensure that I don't have to ever work a day in my life. If I choose to lavish it on my kids, I have enough to ensure that none of them will ever have to work a day in their lives. But money means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING without that special soul mate to share it with. My Brothas and Sistas...don't ever trade integrity for $$$.
