Melanie Brown, aka 'Scary Spice,' has become a mainstream media sensation as of late -- with her much buzzed about paternity battle with box-office superstar Eddie Murphy.
Now that the former Spice Girls starlet is in the clear, with actual proof that the 'Beverly Hills Cop' star is indeed the father of her baby daughter (3-month old baby Angel Iris), she's no longer remaining mum about her ordeal swith Murphy.
Mel B, as she is also known, kicked the ballistics with Essence.com.
Excerpts are below ...
On the pregnancy: "Oh this was a completely planned pregnancy. This wasn't some random, "Oops I fell over and I'm pregnant." I don't live my life like that. I'm a responsible parent and have been a responsible single parent since I got divorced. This is the one thing that really annoys me. If I wanted to have a baby I would have had a baby a long
time ago. I wouldn't have waited eight years to have another one."
On the break-up: "There was no official breakup. I went to London and on my return flight I learned that he made that announcement on that TV show about wanting a DNA test. Then I saw him on the red carpet with Tracey Edmonds and that's when I knew we were over."
On Eddie: "I'll simply say that there were lifestyle changes he would have to make if we were going to live together and do it properly that still weren't resolved. I have a house where it¹s about my kids and me. I don't have people knocking on my door at 3 and 4 in the morning. I have a very simple life-I don't have a ton of people looking after my kids-I'm a very regular person when it comes to that because I want my kids to have a normal life as much as possible."

She said the pregnancy was planned. Was Eddie in on the planning or just in on the planting? Was Eddie tricked again or trapped into being a paymaster for the next eighteen years. What do we call a woman or a man who gives or gets sex for money? Does the word "ho" ring any bells? The child or children are innocent in this farce, but they will have to live with the results of the actions of a "nappy headed ho" and a grinning jackass.

The crime wasn't wanting proof; but, his approach to that endeavor. Was it at all necessary to announce publicly his request for a DNA test? I am quite sure his children can read. I am equally sure they have several televisions for their viewing pleasure. For their sakes he should have shown discretion. What is he teaching his children. Hey Eddie, there is an old African proverb -- If you plant the seed, you must watch it grow.

The laws have to be changed. I think the woman should be 95% responsible for getting pregnant. To date the courts have protected the woman and have caused many problems because they can depend on judges to side with them in an almost routine manner. Having a child is a life altering event. If I were a "woman" I would know for certain whether or not I could become pregnant before I opened my legs and spent 9 months carring a child and the committment it requires for 18 or so years. If the courts didn't favor woman and based EVERY family court decision on an EVEN basis and the WOMAN didn't necessarily and AUTOMATICALLY get custody and MONEY from the man OR had to PAY the man I bet that woman would protect the EMBRYO much better. This country needs to revamp the court system and base each decision of a fair and equitable assessment of the case. The MAN needs to have a 50/50 chance when entering the courts not a less than 5% chance. With regards to Pimp Daddy Eddie, he'll be fine and so will Scary Spice. By the way Eddie, didn't her name "SCARY" provide you with a CLUE?

Can Ms. Brown really be that dumb? Perhaps she isn't dumb at all. How much can she take Murphy for if he's the father of the child? Media puts this trash on "front page" news and then question why thre's so much teen age pregnancy. This type of behavior shouldn't even be acknowledged by any form of the media. Murphy's foul mouth got him started and now he's a legitimate actor? Get real America. He should have a job where part of his job would require him to ask "DO you want fries with that"?

11. What is sad more than anything is how our black folks are conducting their lives like white folks, running around like relationships are like musical chairs, having babies like they have tattoes.
HAHAHAH now isn't this funny. Please, I beg of you to find the stats of how many black folk grew up FATHER/MOTHERLESS compared to the white folk.

I would be willing to bet any amount of money that this was NOT planned by Eddie Murphy! How selfish can a parent be, first you bring a child into the world without having the benefit of a father, then you omit to tell the guy that you "planned" to get pregnant! If I were a guy, I would be royaly pissed about a woman getting pregnant on purpose without discussing it with me firs! I believe that is called entrapment!
