Melanie Brown, aka 'Scary Spice,' has become a mainstream media sensation as of late -- with her much buzzed about paternity battle with box-office superstar Eddie Murphy.
Now that the former Spice Girls starlet is in the clear, with actual proof that the 'Beverly Hills Cop' star is indeed the father of her baby daughter (3-month old baby Angel Iris), she's no longer remaining mum about her ordeal swith Murphy.
Mel B, as she is also known, kicked the ballistics with Essence.com.
Excerpts are below ...
On the pregnancy: "Oh this was a completely planned pregnancy. This wasn't some random, "Oops I fell over and I'm pregnant." I don't live my life like that. I'm a responsible parent and have been a responsible single parent since I got divorced. This is the one thing that really annoys me. If I wanted to have a baby I would have had a baby a long
time ago. I wouldn't have waited eight years to have another one."
On the break-up: "There was no official breakup. I went to London and on my return flight I learned that he made that announcement on that TV show about wanting a DNA test. Then I saw him on the red carpet with Tracey Edmonds and that's when I knew we were over."
On Eddie: "I'll simply say that there were lifestyle changes he would have to make if we were going to live together and do it properly that still weren't resolved. I have a house where it¹s about my kids and me. I don't have people knocking on my door at 3 and 4 in the morning. I have a very simple life-I don't have a ton of people looking after my kids-I'm a very regular person when it comes to that because I want my kids to have a normal life as much as possible."

Question....Why are white people always SOOOOOOOOO interested in OUR business? Don't they have their own business to tend to. Must not cause they are ALWAYS, all up in the kool-aid...OVERLY eager and anxious, just can't wait to "share" their two cents.
Michelle, isn't Paris Hilton our driving around drunk again, or something?

Apparently, people are still surprised to find that children are sexually transmitted. GASP! Too bad you don't have to qualify for parenthood :(

It is amazing how myopic our society has become. It's all about orgasms, money, and jewelry; one piece of jewelry is the sexual partner, the other piece of jewelry is the trophied baby. No one quite understands then, why so many children are so messed up, drugged up and knocked up before they're 21. It's about planning to get pregnant without thinking through the consequences. Eddie Murphy is rich, not wealthy. There is a difference, folks. That's about all. There's not much else there to the guy, other than what appears to be a difficult, complex man who doesn't understand himself, and doesn't want to!

I think all men, celebrity and common, should consider women's feelings after they have an affair or a fling. It's disgusting and it leave women sad and heartbroken when they think that the man she's in love with just wants to bang and not commit to a loving relationship leading to marriage . And if a child is concieved,These men should own up to it.Some men just want to have a notch on their belts or their bed post that would leave women in an unwanted postion and Birth control is not always 99% effective. I think Dear Eddie should pay Child Support since he is not interested in having a meaningful relationship Mel.B or anyone for that Matter. It's ashame that he married a Beautiful Model and Had 5 children by her just to leave her for someone else. You tend to wonder how long this realtionship will last with the ex Tracy Edmonds.Yes, Tracy is Beautiful and a Industry powerhouse since she met Babyface Edmonds but so is Hallie Berry. Remember Eye Candy can get stale after awhile and The true average person with a good heart and good intentions will always conquer the world.
I'm with Mel.B on this one and I hope she gets the money she deserves for her baby girl.

Mel B could use a spiritual advisor. Take a lesson from Tina Turner when you make a mistake ,move on and say good riddance, and get someone better.

Men in general should stop lying to women, whispering sweet nothings and telling them what they think will get them what they want and when that shit backfires they want to run like hell and say it wasn't me. I bet money he told her some lies, they all do.

Enought, already, with attention-seeking, no morals, celbrities. Please, Please, stop giving them what they so passionately seek. There are plenty of young people with impressive credentials, doing positive things. But then, they evidently are not "good press". Ugg---
