Has Toni Braxton hit the skids again?
The formerly bankrupt diva is being sued by a fashion designer for bouncing a check on him.
According to TMZ, wardrobe designer Anthony Franco was commissioned by Braxton and Liberty Entertainment, Inc. to design the entire wardrobe for Braxton's Las Vegas show, "Toni Revealed."
According to court documents filed last week, Franco claims they agreed on a price of $35,000. He alleges that he received payment by check, which was returned for "insufficient funds." He then alleges the defendants put a stop payment on the check.
Franco claims he was eventually paid $20,000, but there is still $15,000 hanging in the balance.
Braxton's show at the Flamingo Hotel began last year and is still going strong.
Brad Cafarelli, Braxton's last known publicist, told The BV Newswire that he is no longer representing Braxton
When probed whether he had a similar financial dispute with the 'Unbreak My Heart' singer, he diplomatically replied "no."
Hmmm.
The Severn Maryland-born chanteuse has had a career plagued by as much scandal as she had success. The recipient of six Grammy Awards, Braxton filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection from a reported $3.9 million debt in 1988. The married mother of two (her eldest son Diezel was diagnosed with autism), she recently made the news for a mudslinging lawsuit with her former manager and record company head Barry Hankerson -- for "fraud, deception and double dealing."

Everyone does make mistakes and we all are not perfect She has alot on her right now dealing with her children,job and plus a husband that seem not to be pulling his own weight I wish Toni all the best.

It is tough financially for everyone these days. Not everyone knows how to manage their finances well either. I seriously doubt she hasn't paid for these clothes because the show has been running a long while.

Poor Toni, she may need help with how to manage her money. As for the stupid people that are suing her, they should be happy with what they got. If I were Toni, I'd file banrupt on them again. They can't get blood.

to all yall haters leave my girl alone she is doing her best to take care of the home front at least she is working,some singers really like give up!she is a strong woman and i would love to meet her one day.when i get some money i want to go see her show in vegas...i love toni braxton very much she is so pretty to me.keep up the good work toni. :) and girl watch out for those crooked people who's trying to steal your money god bless you and your family.... ;)

I have recently seen Toni's show in LasVegas, and she was magic! I hope things go well for her and her family. I think people are so judgemental and speak on matters that they have no personal knowledge of.God bless you Toni!!

So many have commented taht she does not handle her own money....and ? She still neeeds to be aware of how much she has and what is going in and what is going out. If the services were rendered she needs to pay the man his money and move on. It does not matter if someone else wrote the check, she was the beneficiary of the services so she is ultimately rspnsible.

This report is all wrong! As normal filled with typo's. Toni Braxton filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 1998 not 1988. Her Son Diesel is the youngest not the eldest. I think who ever writes these articles- needs to take the time to proof read before publishing it.
