He just he claimed the No. 1 position on Billboard's Mastertone chart after being No. 2 for six straight weeks and selling over 1.2 million ring-tones to date. It's quite evident that Hurricane Chris' 'A Bay Bay' is arguably the biggest breakout hip-hop hit of the summer.
To date, the full track has sold 415,000 units and ranks No. 5 and No. 7 on Nielsen SoundScan's Hot Digital and Digital Songs charts, respectively.
The infectious Phunk Dawg-produced single quickly became a national catchphrase with a peak position of No. 7 and No. 11 on Billboard's Hot 100 and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts, respectively. The accompanying video was a staple on BET's 106 & Park, where it recently reached No. 1 on the popular show's countdown.
The 'Ratchet Remix' of the track -- featuring The Game, Baby, Jadakiss, Lil' Boosie, and Angie Locc from Lava House -- is keeping up its hot streak.
The 18-year-old Shreveport, LA (aka "Ratchet City") native will release his debut album, '51/50 Ratchett,' via Polo Grounds Music/ J Records on Oct. 16.

I'm not in to this sh--,I could name 10 rappers that had 1 good hit and that's it.Little Bay Bay needs to try to make a hole CD that 's good.

This is what rap music has come to. This song should be renamed "I Bye Bye" so music like this never comes back. These new rappers have no talent whatsoever. Thank God for satellelite radio and old school hip hop. Hurricane Chris should act like Katrina and disappear, they both cause enough damage.

You know I give props to anyone who wants to showcase there TALENT (if they have any).But I am so tired of people grabbing a mic and making noice, put a beat to it and turn around and call it music.Wake me up when they bring back REAL hip hop..
