Platinum-plated rap icon T.I. has a small but notable part in the upcoming Ridley Scott drug-trade drama 'American Gangster' – which stars Academy Award winner Denzel Washington, Russell Crowe, Cuba Gooding Jr., and rappers Common and The Rza.
But the 'Big Things Poppin' rapper,currently sending audiences into a frenzy on the nationwide 'Screamfest '07' tour, will be getting more shine with a co-starring role in a film called 'Once Was Lost' opposite acclaimed thespian Danny Glover.
The Atlanta born native -- who had a break-out role in last year's 'A.T.L.' -- is also attached to a picture called 'For Sale,' which will be produced by his own Grand Hustle production company.

I see quite a bit of gossip on BV but I haven't seen anything at all about the Jena6. I was really surprised to find out about what was happening in Jena, LA to 6 young Black Men and nothing about it in this website. Aren't any other people of color interested?????

yeah dar, i'm from mississippi so i really want to know whats going on with that. white kids hanging ropes on trees calling it "the white tree" and clearly being racist is grounds to get your ass beat. now to not give him a fair trial is plain corrupt but what can you expect from the racist white people.

I also thought I would see something about the Jena6 on here but I guess that's not as important as these other topics huh. Racism has never left and I wouldn't be surprised if it came back harder than before. We need to take a stand and stop being scared of what will happen if we do something instead of being scared of what is happening now. Fight for your rights. Power to the people and god bless.

T.I should have been the star int he upcomin film "American Gansta" but like he says big thang s poping and them little roles they keep trying to put him are stoping.
