RAP SHEET: The Game Falls Ill, Derails Shows Abroad

the gameWest coast rap icon The Game has derailed a string of overseas concert performances, due to an "unknown illness."

A source told allhiphop.com that the platinum-plated hip-hop superstar (legally known as Jayceon Taylor) was under the weather and unable to make gigs in Adelaide, Australia on Thursday (Aug. 30), Sydney, Australia on Friday and Auckland, New Zealand on Saturday.

"Venue officials notified concert-goers that the rapper was feeling unwell and would not be performing," the source said. "Audiences were offered full ticket refunds at the door. I would assume that the reason for The Game's absence at the Auckland stopover was because he had not recovered from whatever illness he was suffering from on the previous two dates."

Other artists on the Roc tha Block bill include Pitbull, Naughty By Nature, Sisqo and Akon.

A spokesperson for The Game could not be reached by deadline.
