Move over Shemar Moore!!!
Duane Martin is the latest black Hollywood hottie to come out ... disputing rumors that he's homosexual.
Oh, the power of the blogesphere: able to have the most reclusive personalities come out swinging.
Scary.
The 'All of Us' actor and his beloved wife, actress Tisha Campbell Martin, broke their long-held silence in an effort to dispel internet scuttlebutt that their marriage was doomed -- and that Martin is gay.
"Mark Twain said it best: 'A lie can travel halfway round the world while the truth is putting on its shoes,'" the 42-year old Brooklyn native surmised in an interview with Essence. "So I'm not going to defend myself against a gay rumor when I'm trying to defend my son [Xen] against autism."
"We would look really stupid trying to take our focus off autism, which affects all of us, to fight a gay rumor," he added. "The reason we are talking today is because what we will defend is our 17-year relationship. Nobody is touching that. So whoever wants to rumble, let's rumble."
The couple have been married for 11 years and together for 17, Campbell-Martin (a former child star) said, adding that the rumors started after he didn't join her for a celebrity fundraising event they usually both attend together. "This year he couldn't make it because he had to be in Turks and Caicos scouting for locations for the hotel we're building there," she shared.
"So I went to represent with Tichina [Arnold]," the former 'Martin' star continued. "After I left Philly, I heard that a radio disc jockey announced we'd had an amicable split. Then Duane got a call from Cedric the Entertainer saying, 'I just want y'all to know, Dawg, y'all broke up.' (Laugh) So it progressed from he and I having an amicable split to Duane verbally abuses me to Duane physically abuses me to Duane has a girlfriend on the side to Duane has a boyfriend on the side to I also live an alternative lifestyle."
The couple maintains that their marriage is intact and even collectively dismissed talk that Will Smith and Duane were lovers.
"Our theory is that it's really a slave mentality," she explained. "Whenever the Black community has leaders, potential leaders or a family unit, we emasculate them. You don't ever see them do that to Ben Affleck or Matt Damon. They can be friends, and be powerful individually or collectively and do amazing things."
"It's a Brat Pack when white people do it," he chimed in.
"When two brothers are successful or have influential and powerful friends, we have to emasculate them," she furthered. "On the real, we even did it to Oprah [Winfrey] and Gayle [King]. We have to get over that because at the end of the day who really cares? We have Katrina, autism and children killing one another in my hometown of Newark. I don't know what the obsession is with celebrities, but maybe it helps people feel better about their own situation. We just know that it's something that comes along with being in front of the camera."
When asked about how radio personalities dealt with the controversial subject matter, Martins referred to them as "bottom feeders because they live off s---."
"They go after the low hanging fruit, the lowest common denominator, because they can't get off the bottom and they are trying to feed off others to get to the top," he said. "My family in New York called me and told me they wanted to call Wendy Williams because she was talking negatively about me and Tisha. I told them, "For what?"

There is no right religion lol just lik here there is no right or wrong answer.
And most people get white americas conception of christianity mixed up with true christianity.
Im a christian my favorite cousin is a Muslim we talk religion all the time i read the Bible but i have also read portions of the Quran i havent read the whole thing because i felt like i would be turning my back on my own religious beliefs by even endorsing someone elses words other then the wrods written in the Bible.
and Its like Tellingitlikeitis said people let society tell them what to think instead of researching it for themselves.
some poeple think crhisitanity is wrong because u have KKK members walking around here killing people and claiming to be doing it in the name of GOD when GOD spoke speicifally against Judging or Killing.
Some people believe that Islam is wrong because Muslims slaughtered people including africans and claimed to be doing it in the name of Allah
There are good and bad things in every religion it doesent mean the religion is wrong its the people who promote it in the wrong way that are wrong.
Societ tought us that Jesus was and is white the Bible says different.
but people mis enterpet that some people say that jesus had feet the color of brass the bible does not say that it says that his feet were like brass not the color of brass.
I have my own theory on that though too. In the book of Genisis the Bible says that GOD created man in his own image.. now to me that means that every image of a man that is walking the earth GOD looks like.
meaning GOD is black hes white hes asian hes german hes arabic hes spanish etc.
GOD is every color of every man in every race.
I too am done with this subject ill come by and say sup to yall every now and then though unless u wanna add my myspace.
we all have our perspectives somethings we can agree on and somethings we will never agree on but thats basic human nature :)

First of all Jesus Didn't come to earth to replace the laws of the old testament. Jesus came to fulfill the prophecies of the old testament, that is where the difference is between Christian and Jews. The Jews are still waiting for the prophecies to be fulfilled. Jesus Didn't replace the ten commandments but added two more. Love god with all your heart and love thy neighbor. Yes Jesus loves us but that doesn't mean that Jesus excepted sin. When Jesus saved the woman from being stoned to death for adultery, his last words were "go and sin no more". If Jesus is God and God adhered homosexuality, then Jesus adhered homosexuality . You can't seperate God from Jesus. Telling you keep giving me Doctors theories and calling them facts. SHOW ME THE DNA OR GENE THAT ONLY HOMOSEXUAL HAVE, KNOW THAT WOULD BE CONSIDER AS FACTS. I hate to keep repeating myself but these scientific studies were done and they found no biological reason for people being homosexuals. They did a study on the pair of chromosomes that determines the sex (X&Y) of an indivual and found nothing. They found the reason for color blindness(a single defective X chromosome). WHY CAN'T THEY FINED THE HOMOSEXUAL GENE? I am still waiting on someone to address Roman.

The focus should be on Xen. When you have a child with autism, that should be your priority. Look at Tony Braxton. All her energy is placed on her baby boy with autism. She don't care what people say about her shows in Vegas.I met Duane Martin years ago at his former school in Brooklyn and he seemed to be a cool person. He didn't have any gay tendencies at all. If there is trouble in paradise, they need to push that to the side and take care of their child's needs. I wish him and Tisha the best of luck in their future endeavors.

Jess B there are things I wanted to correct you on. Society didn't make Jesus white. The Roman Catholic Church made Jesus white. The church bought the first picture painted of Madonna or The Virgin Mary and locked the painting in their volt. The painting was called the Black Madonna. The Catholic Church concealed the painting. They wanted to spread Christianity throughout Europe and They felt that the Europeans would not except Christianity if they knew that Jesus was a man of color. The catholic Church created that situation and not society. There is a difference between man made situation and Gods laws. Jim Jones killing all those people in the name of God. There is nothing in the Bible that states that people should have follow Jim Jones down that path. Homosexuality is another wrong path that man is taking. The Bible does speak of homosexual as a sin and a abomination in Gods sight. Those laws are in the old testament (genesis) and in the new testament (Roman). These laws aren't man made but God giving. Jesus never spoke about homosexuality because God the Father has made it clear how he felt in Romans. My second point is that you will always have people using religion to spread their agenda. You have people like Jim Jones, KKK, And even Osama Bin of the Muslims faith spreading their agenda in God's name. That why it is so important for you to read the Bible for your self. When you listen to people who cherry pick the Bible, then you are asking for trouble. When they only want to talk about Gods love but want to omit the consequences for sin. Both are in the Bible. Why do homosexual(cherry pick) omit the sin part of the Bible is it because that part denounce their lifestyle. PEACE OUT.

I don't know if Duane or Will is gay. I don't care! It is too many things is going on. We need to be concern about the Paris Hilton,Imus and The Champman Crew can get away by saying the "N" word. We need to get the Bush out of the sit and people like him. We are concern about the wrong thing. If they on the DL that is between his mate and God.
