Nationally syndicated radio personality Egypt is about to get a little more mainstream exposure with her latest job: as a special correspondent to the 'Maury' show this fall.

Already having mainstream TV exposure such as 'America's Next Top Model' associations to her credit, the beloved broadcasting beauty has been tapped to contribute stories and interviews both in-studio and on-location including reporting on the latest and hottest trends in pop culture, as well as behind the scenes exposes.

The popular talk show, produced and distributed by NBC Universal Domestic television and taped at NEP Studios in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, has been airing (in various incarnations) since 1991. As of lately, it's been gaining momentum for its over-the-top and infectious "You Are NOT The Baby's Father" paternity segments.

"Egypt is a solid interviewer who has an energetic and dynamic personality," show host Maury Povich said with today's announcement of her joining the show. "She will be a great addition to our show as special correspondent."

Egypt, an award-winning radio talent, is most recognized as the co-host of New York City's Power 105.1 FM's morning show. The Philadelphia native is the current voice of Premiere Radio Network's "Synopsis" entertainment report on 'Live In The Den with Tigger' which is broadcast in over 60 cities.

"Maury and his production partners have done an incredible job of building his show into a widely recognized brand," Egypt told The BV Newswire. "I am excited to now officially be a part of the Maury team."

Before 'Maury,' other major TV ops included the syndicated daytime show 'Home Delivery' and a stint as an entertainment reporter for BET's 'The Black Carpet.'
