Alicia Keys may not have bellowed her hit songs in her last couple of Hollywood gigs (as a Black Best Friend in 'The Nanny Diaries' and as an assassin in 'Smokin' Aces'), but she is sure to hit a high note with her scheduled appearance on the new CBS drama 'Cane.'
A spokesperson for the multiple Grammy Award winning music wunderkind confirmed to The BV Newswire that she will perform her latest single 'No One' – from her forthcoming third studio opus 'As I Am' – on the premiere episode of the highly-promoted Hispanic drama, which is fronted by TV veteran Jimmy Smits.
The episode is scheduled to film today at the Thom Thom Club in Santa Monica.. Look for it to air September 25 at 10 PM.

It's so nice to read about someone who is so talented and low key. She is an enormously talented, beautiful and down to earth individual. Some of these rap artists that are making embarassing headlines can take a cue form this young lady.
Besides being talented, she is also involved with humanitarian efforts around the world and especially in Africa. Kudo's to great little lady.

For # 53, Mixed Sensation. I like all types of woman, from brown, on down. I don't look at hair or body types, I see the individual. I like India and Alicia. As for Beyonce, I had the pleasure to chauffeur Destiny's Child when they were appearing At Grambling State University. I see the Beyonce now, as the same person back then. What some see as ego, is just the love of performing and giving the public one hundred and ten percent. I'm also and Angie Stone fan. I really like some Angie Stone! She's not light, bright or ( You know the rest ) at all! This deal you have about skin color and hair style seems like some personal issue's you might have to check out with a therapist. No joke, serious business.

Alicia Keys can truly be a role model for many young women. She is beautiful, talented, and respects herself. My daughter loves her. When do you hear about her drinking herself into a bliss, or showing to much. She is a true star.

Alicia,is some of what all black women should strive to be; always uplifting to a black man ,in vidio's as well publicly. Not projecting stereotype's attached to us. Such as loud and uninformed (IGNANT) The Lynchburg papers were obviously well studied, because distrust, and self hatred of ones own kind because of complexion arn't a issue. Many of us might tear a page from her book. Did I mention Talented .....

Alicia Keys is a natural woman-- beautiful and talented, appearing on a great show like "Cane" is an opportunity for a wider audience to catch a glimpse at how fabulous she is. Saw a great photo of her in a Cane story on www.entertainmenttoday.net check it out, it tells what she was like on the set.
