Media outlets are having a field day of this widely reported tabloid story that black Spice Girls member-turned-Eddie Murphy's latest baby's mother Melanie Brown left their newborn daughter with the hired help to head to Las Vegas to get hitched.
Star magazine reports that Tonia Lamere says Mel B left young Angel Iris Murphy Brown with her while she eloped to Sin City with new hubby Stephen Belafonte.
"One evening of baby-sitting turned into four days!" she revealed. "The child was sick, there was no nanny, and when Mel called, she never even asked about the baby."
Move over Britney Spears.
"Melanie is a hands-on mother completely dedicated to the upbringing of her children and the well-being of her entire family," her flack said, trying to quell the story. "Any fictitious accusations to the contrary stem from greedy people looking to make a buck."
Let's hope that is true.

Where's Eddie????...if the person left in trusted to care for the infant cared like she protest why is she reporting this to the media why didn't the dad come pick up the child?...MONEY,MONEY,MONEY.....BY THE WAY I DON'T BELEIVE YOU...if she indeed left this child with you with no nanay care etc.... and you did not choose to care for the infant you would have made it known when Mel b called you...again wheres dear old dad

We are a Nation of "self-haters"! First and foremost the man KNEW that was his child and as soon as he started dating what he perceived to be a "catch", he decided to put Mel-B down in a manner that would make not only his Mother but his Grandmother ASHAMED!!
He lowered himself to that category of African-American men who "deny" their flesh and blood without a thought to the child, the history they are creating for that child nor do they reflect back on or care about anything else. It's one of the reasons black women scream for money instead of the establishment of a relationship between father and child! Black men when screaming "it ain't mine" and denial even the possibility of paternity in public, foster public humiliation, embarrassment and pain unlike no other. Now, flip the script, there are many African-American men who LOVE their children and have a blessful belly full of them and women SHOULD be grateful for those types and never hinder them from seeing and assisting in raising their children regardless of their monetary considerations. By this I mean, if a man is "down on his luck", a woman should not get crazy and state, if he can't help with money, then he can't see his child. It is unfortunate our country is so capitalistic and materialistic that instead of "people", both men and women going to court for monetary child support, they would consider going to court for alienation of affection as it relates to a child's emotional development! It's all twisted, so I write, GOD BLESS THE CHILD THAT'S GOT HIS OWN!
So, ya'll hater's leave Mel-B alone!! If she has discovered a MAN who loves her and will assist with the love and emotional support that child will need, more power to her! The so-called "babysitter" needs to get a life and Mel needs to cut her out of her life real quick! Let's not kick a sister when she is down as stated in just one of the demands we have religiously followed like sheep and made by "Willie Lynch"! (As a side note, I don't think we will ever get away from his doctrine). The woman will prove to be a good mother and Murphy will answer to the Most High in due time!

I DON'T BLAME HER FOR LEAVING THE BRAT WITH THE BABY SITTER. THAT SUCKER SHE MARRIED MIGHT HAVE RAN AWAY AND MARRIED THE DOGCATCHER. HELL, A GIRL HAS TO CATCH IT AS CATCH CAN. SHE NEEDS A DADDY FOR HER LITTLE BRAT. THE DUDE PROABLY NEEDS A STEADY PEICE OF POONTANG.

I see everything wrong with leaving a BABY with someone other than a relative for four days. No Way in HE** should anyone do this. This is a newborn, who needs the comfort of her parents when she was sick. Golddigger, that's all she is, just like Shaq's wife and Eddie's other wife. Why did she leave him anyway's? He wasn't cheating on her, no she just wanted to go out more, he wasn't put up with it so she left. Mel B. has said it over and over that she got pregnant on purpose. That's a doggone shame. I say no child support. Oh but I forgot that's why she purposely got pregnant anyways. That's why she left the baby she's not concerned for that baby she just want the money.

First of all, Eddie Murphy is a damn fool for not even thinking twice about fathering Mel B's daughter if his ex-wife Nicole believed it was his child (anyone who had as many kids with someone as she has would know his offspring off hand) then he should have known.
As far as her leaving her kid with a nanny while she went to Vegas to wed, me personally I would not have went that route but that is just me but if it was a problem she should have said no.
Oh and who the hell is Stephan Belafonte? especially if he is not related to shari or harry?
