If you thought Denzel Washington was something in 'Malcolm X' and 'Training Day,' wait until you see the double Academy Award winner in 'American Gangster.'
Directed by 'Gladiator' director Ridley Scott, the three-hour-long epic traces the story of Frank Lucas -- one of the New York City narcotics industry's most prominent figures during the 1970s. The film, which arrives in theaters on Nov. 2, is a cinematic tour-de-force.

This film, although a negative stereotype, is very educational, and I commend Danzel and all for such great representation of this person Mr. Frank Lucas that I knew nothing of nor do I ever want to be like. But please look closely at the name and the message this so-called true story gives for we were not there. There's too much to say but American Gangsters are not Black(melanin), white(caucasion),yellow red, or brown civilians here in America. They are this worlds elite who are in positions of power to crush any so-called "street Gangster" or any innocent human anytime they feel like it. J.Edgar Hoover-ordered the murder and assassination of men, women, and innocent children at the hands of the American police force. One of many true gangsters who cannot be stopped like the oil companies. You want to be a real gangster... Be the head of your own organized force with the wide open ability to eliminate world populations with weapons of war or germ warefare openly with no shame with laws to justify it. Instead of running around with handguns and automatic weapons terrorizing the population. In the meantime just enjoy the movie and realize the messages in it. Only in America you have a so called race and anywhere else in the world you are an American who is equal for slaughter by hostile forces, no matter what color or race. So called blacks need to realize they are not black, negro, miayate(bad mexican word), or all those other negative words-just American and be not a racist! As for caucasions and other light complexioned peoples, good luck with your inner battle, for your roots and foundations were built on the hating and continual murder of your original, dark skinned family so that you may survive as co-called white and pure. Huh! To love or mix with anyone dark would mean genetic annilation of your precious european roots, or welcome to an even tougher fight in which you and your future generations would forever undergo. May The Almighty Bless all who are good and have fun everyone.

Denzel is the bomb, no doubt, but why is it that he gets nominated for an Oscar when he's playing a villian? Do you folks know how many roles this man has played that actually deserved an Oscar? That is just wrong!

Stop making excuses, we've Been had by a great actor, for trying to make this thugg Frank Lucas tragic hero, which he nor any drug dealing, sensitive-numb feeling, murderer, could ever be. Denzel please come back to the people. Through your magnificent craft , you brought the nobel Malcolm to us, and the ones who didn't really know him, was truly enlightened because of your brillant work, in protraying this remarkable giant of a man. There are many more that you could do the same, just to a few, there is the great intellect WEB Dubois, the indrustrious, and witty Booker Washington, the courageous, "I am going get my freedom, or die trying" Nat Turner. The great revolutionist and general Toussaint L'Ouverture, ruler of Haiti; who fought courageously ,against invasions by the imperialistic french, later against the Spanish and the British. Under him Hati enjoyed a priod of much Prosperity. There is perhaps one the most gifted men that ever lived, he was a master intellect, athelete, voacalist, actor, international activist, the list is infinite, with Jackie Robison, Sugar Ray Robinson, Willie Mayes, Hank Aaron, Larry Doby, George washington Carver,Colin Powell, August Wilson ,Thrugood Marshall, Adam Clayton Powell.Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. I could be here naming black who has , menu of to the table of nobility, without tarnishing it with, by inviting some self centered dope dealer.

Oh I Am Sorry I left out the name Paul Robeson he is the man I was referring to when I wrote"One Of The Most Gifted Men That Ever Lived. He and all of the other men I listed are Invited to my table of Nobility, as long as they don't extend that invitation to the dope dealing Fralk Lucas. Because he could TARNISH, this distinguished table of Great African American Men, who paved the way for others of an intelligent mind, a compassionate heart, noble spirit to follow. We could add James Balwin, Ralph Ellison,Paul Lawrence Dunbar, Freerick Douglas, Mauhammad Ali, Joe Louis, Benjamin Banneker, Sidney Portier, A Phillp Randolph, Dr. Percy Lavon Julian, Jan Ernest Matzeliger, Marcus Garvey, Matthew Allexander Henson, Dr. Ralph Bunche, and James Weldon Johnson. The list is unlimted.
