A former chart-topping hip-hop artist recording music in South Africa does sound a tad bit ambitious. But when the same rapper gets robbed while over, that's a dog's mess.
A South African newspaper is reporting that Keith Murray was robbed while in the country to record a new track, and is now offering a reward for the return of his stolen items.
According to published reports, two armed men entered the Cube recording studios in Parkview, South Africa at about 10 p.m. Tuesday and held up the former Jive Records rapper and several other people inside. The intruders reportedly got away with four laptops, cell phones and cash.
What a way to go out in The Motherland.
Best known for his 1994 single 'The Most Beautifullest Thing in This World,' the Central Islip, New York native has had a dodgy history of criminal activity and even served time in jail after becoming hood rich.
He alleges that because of this current incident, he was robbed of "the last 12 years of his work," which had been saved on one of the stolen Apple Mac computers.

FOR THE KNUCKLEHEAD THAT DOESNT KNOW THE PROCESS OF CREATIVITY, WE AS ARTISTS SEEK DIFFERENT LOCATIONS TO INSPIRE AND SHAPE THE TONE OF WHAT WE HAVE TO SAY, AND AS GREAT AS OUR COUNTRY(AMERICA IS) WE MAY NOT FIND THE INSPIRATION HER, SO WE GO TO ANOTHER LAND TO FIND THE VOICE THAT WERE LOOKING FOR. FOR YOU TO SAY "HE SHOULDVE STAYED IN THE US SHOWS THE LACK OF KNOWLEDGE YOU HAVE OF THE PROCESS OF CREATIVETY. i HOPE I EXPLAINED IT PROPERLY, kEITH, KEEP YOUR HEAD UP MY BRETHREN!
