Michael Baisden is making another go at television -- this time in a more relaxed setting.
The popular nationally syndicated radio personality and best-selling author is hosting, 'Baisden After Dark,' premiering Oct . 7 at 10 p.m. (ET) on TV One.
The weekly talk/variety series is targeted at the "grown and sexy" audience and will explore a wide range of provocative topics interspersed with celebrity guests and a roundtable discussion on one hot topic.
Joining Baisden, the self-described 'Bad Boy of Radio,' for the show will be R&B veteran Morris Day serving as bandleader, and comedian George Wilburn.
The 44-year-old Chicago native previously hosted the short-lived talk show 'Talk or Walk,' which was distributed by Tribune Entertainment.
The premiere episode will feature a discussion with relationship expert Dr. Michelle Callahan and the topic is "Are men doing their job in the bedroom?" Broadway bound R&B crooner Brian McKnight is musical guest.
Throughout the first 13-episode season of 'After Dark,' guests will include Sheryl Lee Ralph, Angie Stone, Angela Burt-Murray, Musiq Soulchild, Bill Bellamy, Howard Hewett, Tank, Betty Wright, Johnny Gill and Karrine Steffans.
Additional airings off the show will be Sunday nights at 1AM, Mondays at 10PM & 1AM, and Saturdays at 11PM (all times ET).

Pleasant greeting,
In love with a stripper round table show was rather eyebrow raising.
As usual, I loved the panel. You offer a wide variety of thought provoking questions, comments and ways a looking at situations.
I am an officer of the court but I will take a weekend a dance in Miami or Vegas, I can make a nice grand simply networking and a few twirls around a pole.
Let's meet in person, see you on the show.
Thanksfor your time and attention.

I always enjoyed Michael Baisden's radio talk show in NYC on 98.7 KissFM. He was honest, forthright and showed a lot of integrity. What happened to Michael since he has been on TVOne? He his diminished my admiration for him. This show nothing but a bunch of men showboating the "Men is Dogs" mentality. Every show seems to be about how to mistreat women by being so called "playas". All of this to get ratings. George Wilburn is nothing but his baffonish wanna be side-kick who laughs at everything Michael says. He's so happy to have a job, he will lick Michael's shoes if he was asked to do so. The last show showed strippers, what kind of show is this? I thought TVone was an acception from BET, what will be next booty shaking videos? This channel was on it's way to a level of integrity and stood out from BET, but putting on shows with integrity. They can be "real" like the show with the black men discussing real issues by the black man' view-point and opinion. These men carried themselves in a respectable manner. I may not have agreed with everything they discussed, but I respected their opinions. Why are we going backwards, seeing black men only discussions about sex and mistreating black women? This negates his work with the "Jena 6", his show gives negative messages about women, relationships ect.. Am I the only one who sees that eventually our black programming will turn into another Flava Flav catastrophe and embarrassment, all for the sake of the mighty dollar and ratings. What is going on?
