The fragrance and clothing business has been a huge cash-cow for hip-hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs.
However the same can't be said for his restaurant endeavors.
Today, a spokesperson for the Bad Boy Records honcho confirmed to The BV Newswire that his flagship New York City watering hole, Justin's, has shuttered.
The neo-soul food restaurant -- located in the Flatiron District -- is apparently looking to "relocate elsewhere in Manhattan."
"Bad Boy is seeking a larger footprint for the restaurant in the New York City area, as the size and location of the restaurant no longer fit the Justin's brand," an official statement said.
"The company sees the larger Justin's Restaurant in Atlanta, which takes up most of a city block, as the prototype for the new New York City location," it continued.
"Bad Boy representatives are evaluating a number of options for a larger space in some of New York City's prime traffic areas."
Okay.
The restaurant, named after Combs' first-born son and inspired by Combs' grandmother, Jesse Smalls, served its last meal Sept. 24, but will be open for previously booked private functions.

Hmmmm Something smells fishy! The Puff Meister would not be trying to downsize and shield all those ASSets from a soon to be Ex when she goes after those CHILD SUPPORT dollars. Ka-Ching !! Just kidding but if he unloads anything else I will rethink my position.

I don't believe that the restaurant is closing because it is failing, I recently ate there in late July of this year and the bar as well as the restaurant was fairly busy. Honestly he really does need a better location, It was in Manhattan but it was almost isolated on a quiet, fairly deserted block off of a narrow 2 lane street. I would not call it a prime location at all, the dining room looked as if it would barely hold over 50 people and it is so small that signs are posted not to dance, factor in the chipping paint, exposed pipes and holes in the wall-no wonder he is moving the place it was not Diddy-like at all! Vut the food and the service were excellent!! The food was extremely good as well as the drinks and worth the money, but the ambianced kinda deflated the experience just a tiny bit!!
