If you thought you had to be dark-skinned, poor and living in the south to have racism rear its ugly head at you, think again.

There are reports surfacing that Halle Berry had to beef up security after receiving racist threats to harm her unborn baby.

Say it ain't so?

The biracial Academy Award winning actress is expecting her first child with Caucasian boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.

And apparently some folks are not too pleased.

The 41-year-old 'Monsters Ball' star reportedly got anonymous letters that said her baby would be 'cut into hundreds of pieces'.

A source close to Berry told one media outlets that she doesn't hire security, but after the threats has roped in two guards.

A rep for Berry could not be reached by deadline.
