Even though he is the one who helped make having a "Jesus Piece" in vogue for the hip-hop masses, Kanye West always does always tend to stray away from stereotypical hip-hop clichés.
But that seems to be changing by the minute.
The politically correct hip-hop icon is planning to shill diamonds in his likeness.
According to Women's Wear Daily, the Chicago-bred platinum-seller is entering the jewelry business with the development of his own collection with Takashi Murakami, who illustrated the cover art for his latest album, 'Graduation.'
"They'll be more accessible, they won't be all diamonds," West said about the collection, which doenst have a launch date attached.
The fashionably fabulous rap star reportedly wore a prototype piece from the line at the Givenchy show last week -- it was described as "a huge gold Manga-style diamond-studded pendant around his neck."
