To no one's surprise, R. Kelly won't be in court this holiday season. Instead, the multi-platinum selling R&B dynamo will be taking his show on the road and bumping and grinding in cities across the country.

And get this: the self-proclaimed "Pied Piper" taking some of the hottest young R&B chart-toppers out on a cross-country trek.

Hip-Hop Soul princess Keyshia Cole, du jour songwriter/crooner Ne-Yo breakout newcomer J. Holiday will all support Kelly for his "Double Up" tour, which kicks off Nov. 14 in Columbus, Georgia. The near 40-city tour, presented by the Atlanta-based concert promotion firm Rowe Entertainment Inc., helmed by industry veteran Leonard Rowe, will make stops in New York, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Miami, Los Angeles and Kelly's hometown of Chicago.

Confirmed tour dates are listed below.

The 'Down Low (Nobody Has to Know)' singer's last tour, the Spring 2006 "Light It Up" Tour, played to near sell-out audiences in 43 cities, before bringing down the curtain before what the Sacramento Bee described as a "nearly delirious Mother's Day crowd" in Sacramento's Memorial Auditorium.

Rowe plans on building upon that success.

r. kelly"The 'Double Up' Tour is going to be one of the biggest productions in the course of R. Kelly's career, so understandably there's a great deal of anticipation and much to look forward to," he told The BV Newswire today. "This tour represents one of our company's many achievements and most certainly one of the biggest tours in black music history."

The tour follows Kelly's latest No. 1 debut "Double Up," which was certified platinum within three months of its release. He recently wrote, directed and starred in the sequel to his Grammy Award nominated video saga 'Trapped in the Closet.'

Cole, who currently appears on the cover of the Oct. 2007 edition of Essence magazine, stormed the R&B/Hip-Hop charts with her sophomore opus 'Just Like You.'

Ne-Yo, currently working on new music projects with Whitney Houston, Britney Spears and Jennifer Hudson, released his sophomore set 'Because of You' last spring, amassing near 820,000 copies in sales to date.

Lastly, the Washington, D.C. based singer-songwriter J. Holiday has sold more than 100,000 copies of his debut album, 'Back of my Lac,' off the strength of his No. 1 hit single, 'Bed.'

"We have formed a terrific line-up, to provide concertgoers with some of today's best contemporary urban musical talent as well as state-of-the-art, eye-popping production values, and a guaranteed good time," Rowe added.
