"Freedom of speech, what happened to that? What happened to expressing yourself? ... At least I know where he stands. And you know what? When he called them nappy-headed ho's, I went, 'Wow, he's right.'"
-- Comic actor Damon Wayans commenting on the Don Imus/Rutgers University Women's Basketball Team controversy that ensued earlier this year. (The View)

Better to be thought of as a fool than to open your mouth and remove all boubt. Comedians need to check themselves.

damon you, your brothers and sister are modern day Uncle Toms and do mintsrile (blackface) comedy for mostly White folks!!! And I'm sure most black people are laughing at how rediculose are and how far you'll go to get paid by the Whiteman.whom i'm sure are the majority of your ticket buyers. And since you speak of free speech the next time a bother sees' your sister or they should address them as nappy headed hoes' I would enclude your wife in it but I'm sure she's mighty bright and could dame near pass for white!!! In my opinon your clan is the Jerks (Steve Martain) the Black versions. You need to take a serious look at the comedy you and your siblings do, if you don't see how much of a jerk you make your self out to be for the white man then your whole family are seriously sick. Perhaps one day your clan will realize you make yourselves out to be buffones trying to be so-called comedians. Brother what you are is an large size asso-hole. Freedom of Speech.

The rap music that they bump and grind to, call them much worst than a nappy head ho, and those are the brothers say that to the sisters. And they get paid millions for singing it.If Imus would've had a beat and tigtened up the lyrics they would've dropped down and got their eagle on.

Wow. I can't even see that as a joke. It was stupid. I'm all for freedom of speech but there is no way Imus was right. If he had actually said something about the way the team played it would be different. But he called them nappy headed hoes. And I don't care how many rappers say it and get away with it...they're ALL wrong.

When your show has been cancelled and your stand Up act has officially sat down, what else is left, what other venue can you use to get back in the news but to say something so outrageously Ignorant, that it would automatically generate a response from the public and the media. People , just as America learned to ignore Former Basketball player Dennis Rodman , we must learn to ignore desperate people like person. These beauiful woman represented our Sisters , Daughters and Wives , so if this very ignorant man wants to call his Sisters and Daughters this negative name then that is something that he has to deal with.

How can you even get mad at Damon Waynes? To get mad would be to take him seriously. Excuse me, but isn't this the same guy who played "Blankman?" Getting mad at him would be like getting mad at the retarded child for hitting you, they don't know any better.

Damion, just showed what an ignorant little boy sounds like. He is not Black, he just happens to be in Black skin. I did not know that he was that dumb.
He is saying that all of the women in his family, mother included are what Don Imus said.

You know, Damon Wayans is stupid. Don Imus is stupid. With that said...GIMME A BREAK! "It's hard out here for a pimp?" Grammy Award winning song? The brother's and sister's watched the movie. White men and women watched the movie. "99 Problems But A B**** Ain't One". "Can't turn a Ho into a House Wife". I could go on and on. The ONLY reason why anyone has a problem with it is because A.) The White Guy said it first, B.) Then the Black Guy backed it up. A majority of people, and I am going to include those who post comments will listen to it in a hip-hop song and accept it cause sub-consciously you aspire to the wealth and prestige of these idiot rappers. You'll let them shove it in your ears as long as it has a good beat, but you won't accept it with your news while drinking your morning cup of Folgers? GET REAL. Don Imus and Damon Wayans spoke their mind! You wanna cast judgement on them...go for it, but before you do why don't you take the trash you listen to out of your ears and open your eyes! We as a RACE have brought disrespect of OURSELVES into the main stream. We have to stop doing it to OURSELVES before we can make a demand on ANYONE else.

Damon I hope this message get to you. You black men that keep talking that "Freedom of speech shit" walk your ass on the job and call one of those white ladies a white bitch or straight hair whore. You'll fine out real quick how freedom of speech will get your butt in the unemployment line and black balled. I'm convinced there quite a few young blacks riding on the shock wave from the explosion created by the actions of people such as Mr Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson and Dr King and other unseen heros.
