"I'm sure I could call Morris Chestnut and we could do eight more movies, and we'd be totally happy, our bills paid. But am I growing as an artist? You can't take just any job ... if you do take any job it becomes painfully obvious once the thing comes out. People are like. 'Whew, she needed money.'"
-- Sensational screen siren Gabrielle Union about being selective with her acting roles. The Omaha, Nebraska native stars alongside Morris Chestnut in 'Perfect Holiday' due out in theaters Dec. 12. (Essence)

She really is a beautiful African American Queen!!! She seems to be a grounded person as well considering the trauma she has been through in her life.

Would it be rude to ask why it seems that Morris Chestnut has a lock on leading man roles in black movies? Maybe I didn't get the memo, but there are so many handsome and talented black male actors that need to be showcased and frankly I don't get the whole Chestnut thing anyway. Gabrielle is gorgeous.

#5 probably because he has really improved since his BOYS N THE HOOD days. However, I am really tired of Faison or whatever his name is, being extremely silly in all the movies ... i.e. Who's your caddy?
Gabrielle is pretty, but again, tired of her being the leading "perfect female" in all the movies, again Daddy's Girls, Constellation and of course Two Can Play that Game.

These two actors have the right to be selective. They have a reputation of being in classy movies & movie roles. Not those ghetto type movies either. Love gabby's dimples. She is a classy lady. So is Morris a classy dude. Hope they both find that role that they are looking for. That takes them to Denzil & Halle Berry status.....http://www.myspace.com/emale_kv

#6, That was Morris Chestnut that was in "Two Can Play That Game", but the leading actress was "Vivica Fox, not Gabby. I think they are both great actors.
