Someone said how did Halle win an Oscar before Gabrielle? Uh, because she's a BETTER actress. LMAO! I love Gabby, but i'm keeping it real, her acting ability is very limited. Angela Bassette, Kimberly Elis and Regina King are great too, Angela to me is the best. But I think people get so caught up in their HATE for Halle that they forget that when it comes down to it, Halle can act with the best of them, I know some of you hate to hear that but oh well. You can't take away everything Halle has accomplished in her career (she's won EVERY acting award there is to win), that is NOT by accident. She deserves everything she has, she has worked hard just like everyone else and deserves to be in the position she is in. Period. For black people that are still mad about Monstars Ball, get over it... had it been a black man in that scene you wouldn't have had a problem. She would have won that Oscar regardless. That woman don't give anyone any reason NOT to like her and folks stay mad her for whatever reason, I will never get it. SMH
Gabby if you are even ever lucky enough to get nominated for an Oscar and win... be careful, because some black folks will turn against you. If you are ever even lucky enough to even reach Halle's level, be careful... because once you get there some black people will call you a "sellout" too. Sad but true. smh

How sweet is it to know that there are still entertainers who have a little integrity? It's wonderful to know that there are some actors like Gabrielle and Morris who are selective about the roles they play. It makes you wonder just how many scripts Gabrielle, inparticular, has been introduced to, that assumed the actress would be willing to make some compromises for the sake of a big check (women tend to be alot more vulnerable to such situations then men, in my opinion). At the end of the day she can rest her head on her pillow and sleep peacefully. And if her future should include children, she'll be able to hold her head up high and reveal her art w/out any shame or regrets. A beautiful woman w/a beautiful mind...how could you not love this girl?!

I don't think we see Morris enough. But when we do, its good to see that eye candy. Gabby on the other hand, I am sick of seeing. She reminds me of the girl next door.

I haven't heard anyone say anything about Sanaa Lathan or Kerry Washington. Those two I will die for along with Gabrielle Union. Now to address the people that are saying the two featured are always playing the lead roles in black films are not true at all. I think it's really balanced with who get lead roles in black films. With that said, I also agree with #12 because I've only seen Jaleel White in Idle Wild (he was in it all of 3 seconds), Malcolm Jamal Warner in in his 3 second shots, among others that I don't come to mind right now. #13, obviosuly you never saw Cradle 2 the Grave. Gabby did a NICE strip dance in that movie.

Well she dont have to act with him, there is not just one male or female black actors, hell lets see them all, some we havent seen before, and I want black movies to get deeper, Spike Lee where are you!

My point is, Why do you carry what people think Gabrielle? That's what wrong with the world, we put too much stock in what other people think... people we don't even know in many cases. If you need the money, take whatever job offered, laughing all the way to the bank. You can pay your bills. You are absolutely in the top Most Beautiful People in Hollywood, use it to your gain, but don't do anything against your conscience. Stay beautiful Girl! and keep working!
