"I'm saying that the story that she's giving is not true. Whoever made it up and gave it to the media certainly leaked it out and there is a consistent focus to do three key elements and possibly four. Number 1) is to destroy my integrity and credibility in the ministry, which would destroy the church, 2) give her a cause that she's never had before which will then, 3) raise money that she needed desperately for her ministry and operations and 4) put me in jail and give up the void where she would no longer have to fill the emotional change and charge that she knew she didn't want to possibly see another woman married to me sometime in the future. And this makes a perfect alibi for her to dramatize to do all four of these things."
-- Embattled televangelist Bishop Thomas Weeks, III on the alleged assault of his estranged wife Prophetess Juanita Bynum. (EUR)

Please people we need to look pass the obivous. If any one still believes he did all that to her something is wrong. There is a video of her running behind him as he attempts to get away from her. She tried to prevent the man from leaving and any action taken on his part, probably was to get her off of him and that is how she got her bruises. Holding on to his legs in the parking lot. It may have looked like he was kicking her, when he was just trying to get her off of him. None of us were there but given Juanita history and relationship, this is exactly what she likes. She always plays the victim and she always tells everyone that the man was a homosexual. I don't believe she is above abusing herself and blaming the man. His background and her background speaks for itself, Juanita made a video were she talks about getting rid of Mr. Little and Getting with Mr. Big, You can bet that most of this mess is because she already had a Mr. Big she is trying to get with on a permenant basis

I truly think that Bishop Weeks and Prophetess Bynum should take a break from ministry until both of them get some well deserved HELP!!!!!!!!
Hurt People only hurt other people - because they are both hurting they need to let their wounds heal and stop bleeding on those who follow their ministries.

Number 6, 10,and 11.
In your comments, there are some key points.
I would like to say that God is indeed in charge, also
I believe everyone that picks up a Bible cannot interpet what is being said and saying that all God's
children need someone to help with interpreting God's
Holy Word because when you are a Babe, you have to be taught until you mature in the Word.
We all need to pick up the Bible for so many reasons.
There are some of God's children in the world doing many things, Preachers in the Pulpit preaching many things and others saying many things; but until you mature in the Word; you will possibly be lead in all
directions as far as the eyes can see: so I would say pray for the knowledge to know God.
Many words some would want to say and I have actually seen but do not know where to start.
All of us with an insight of the Blessings of the Lord and what His Word has to offer His children should pray for all to come to know God and pray that His Loving Angel Protected Spirit be around all of His children. Be Blessed and be a Blessing to someone. Happy A Safe New Year coming and REJOICE TO THE LORD FOR TO WAKE UP IN A NEW YEAR WITHOUT THE DIRT OVER YOU; will be just another chance you will have to get right before you go home.
Please help a lost soul come to know the Lord.
Remember, ONLY WHAT YOU DO FOR CHRIST LIKE His Will and His Way towards Him will LAST.
MY COMMENT TO THE SNAKES IN THE PULPIT THERE ARE TO SIDES and what was the author of this book trying to do or say to others before he wrote this book; right then he should have started for the so-called snakes to come clean.
I believe in paying my tithes to God.
There have always been people from Rev. Ike, The Bakers long before the Dollars, the Longs and others.
When you work for the pay check, you can do what you want after YOU PAY GOD.
The author is no better than the book he has writte.
All the motives seems the same to me the $$$$$$$$$$$.

The whole truth of this matter,is that both parties are wrong a guilty, before God. God says he hates divorce, Juanita knows it and so does the bishop. If you two can't forgive one another, and honor your vow to God how can you expect other to listen to you two and follow you two. Outside of fornication there really is no excuse for divorce. Jesus forgave the woman who was caught in adultry how much more should we forgive one another. Leaders must lead by example, you can't preach what you don't practice. Now I know why many of the people in the clergy don't like to preach about marriage and divorce, because they don't have the unconditional love that Jesus speaks about, and they know that at the first sign of problems they are the first to pack it in. God will surely show you where you are at, and where your heart is also. Marriage is nothing to take lightly. Juanita said that this is the man that God brought into her life for a husband, God does not make mistakes. We do, but he doesn't. God knew about all his short coming and goings, as well as Juanita's too. So suffer it to be, and do what is right before God and not yourself. This is you two test of faith and endurance in your trust and faith in Jesus. Yes the fire is turned up because he is going to burn all the dross off of you two. The test of faith ain't always easy, even if you are a minister or prophtest, just remember Hosea, who was told to married a woman of many whoredoms, what makes Juanita and the Bishop any different. You faith and trust in Jesus is on display, do accordingly to his word and lean not to you own understand! Your Brother in Christ Jesus Amen.

God will reveal all sin especially if you are causing his people to stumble. He also said his people perish due to lack of knowledge, and you can tell a tree by its fruits. Just remember that no sin goes undiscipline and vengeance is the Lords

COnsider this..........Most abusers admit they did indeed hit their victims and began profusely apologizing. Isn't it funny that Bishop has not done that. HE admitted that there were some problems but we really need to understand that there are women who lie and Juanita Bynum and her staff are lying! You all are passing judgement based on some fabricated bruises that if indeed this man stomped her in alligator shoes, choked and punched her would her face and body not show that.THINK PEOPLE!! She is lying on this man. Some women keep pushing a man and even fight him and as quiet as it is kept Juanita is a nasty HELL raiser and all you lame ass women on here know it. Many of you women are probably the same type of hell raising women that will try to fight a man especially when you know he does not fight. YOu see him as weak and then you become the abuser. He need to whoop you ass one good time and put you in your place.

Both are opportunist. There is far much more to this situation than what meets the eye. To even insinuate in any way that God is pleased with what either of them is doing is contrary to the Word of God that they both profusely proclaim to live and abide by. God is not the author of confusion. Regardless of who is to "blame" for all of this, both are forgetting their marriage vows to "love, honor and cherish for all the days of their (your) lives". They are in essence still married, therefore, some things should still be considered sacred between a man and his wife. There should still me a certain level of respect still evident and a desire to keep themselves unspotted from the world. Slinging mud solves nothing and gives the world yet something else to wag their tongues about. The true high road in this matter has been the road not taken by either of them. No one deserves to be abused, but to capitalize on your abuse becomes an ineffective witness for the body of Christ. We are not to witness for profit, which is what she is doing. He is no better by "bad mouthing" her to the world. Discretion is the better part of valor. Should she have continued to suffer in silence? Of course not. So she should make a spectacle of herself for the world? Of course not. Should he have put his hands on her at all? Of course not. Should he try to justify his actions by attacking her? Well, we all know the answer to that one.
Perhaps in 2008, the year of new beginnings, we will all begin to mind our own business and not feed into the nonsense and sensationalism that world seems to never tire of spooning to us every opportunity they get. If we didnt buy it, they wouldnt sell it. Perception is power and we have more power than we realize.
May the high road be the road traveled by us all in the upcoming year.

There are always two sides to a story. The Scriptures declare that the first to present his/her case sounds convincing until their neighbor presents theirs. None of us were there that night.
Personally, I have always thought their marriage to be a sham. I've suspected the Bishop to be homosexual. As for Bynum she's not all there either. This is yet another testament as to how careless WE the church have been in who we allow to stand as leaders in our pulpits.

THEY THINK THEY ARE GETTING THE BEAT DOWN NOW, IF THEY DON'T REPENT AND ASK THE FATHER FOR FORGIVENESS, THE BEAT DOWN WILL BE EVERLASTING AND VERY HOT !!!!!

I agree with Melle. It's amazing how these pastors, bishops, etc. care about the Church when there congregation thins out.
