"I'm saying that the story that she's giving is not true. Whoever made it up and gave it to the media certainly leaked it out and there is a consistent focus to do three key elements and possibly four. Number 1) is to destroy my integrity and credibility in the ministry, which would destroy the church, 2) give her a cause that she's never had before which will then, 3) raise money that she needed desperately for her ministry and operations and 4) put me in jail and give up the void where she would no longer have to fill the emotional change and charge that she knew she didn't want to possibly see another woman married to me sometime in the future. And this makes a perfect alibi for her to dramatize to do all four of these things."
-- Embattled televangelist Bishop Thomas Weeks, III on the alleged assault of his estranged wife Prophetess Juanita Bynum. (EUR)

Well first of all, I think most of the women on here that placed a comment or two , may have been beaten kicked or abused by their mate. I think there are many angry pwople on here, with comments that are very mean first of all , and unforgiving. I say seek all that is in the Lord , who does forgives all of us. I am not taken sides here, but stop reading this mess here. Leave it alone. If our brother in the Lord did this, He will be judged, we are so easy to say things, the media can take a story and change it, fix it up , or even sugar coat it. If she did say these thing in a false statement, God will deal with her. My firt thought is for her is , I would not said nothing and let the law handle it. Now for all of the us , we should be asking , where are the pictures are , why have them been leaked out on web site. Come on you sister and brothers, just think , no matter what the reason is , they both will have their day in court, God will be their Judge, well seek those things which are true , pure , do any of us know if this stuff is true , or pure . He that is without sin , throw the first stone. Love , Peace, Happy New Year to all

He was walking away from her. I believe she instigated the fight. If he had done all she said she would have been in ICU. I do believe what he says to be true. She needs to humble herself. She portrays herself to be almost as high as God. She seems to be very hard to communicate with and everything must be her way.

First, I would like to start by saying that the bible tells us not to judge others. We really don't know what happpened, so to sit here and judge either one of them is wrong. All we can do is pray for them both and let GOD handle the rest. Second, I have brought sermons from the TV evangelist and I do support some, like TD Jakes, Creflo Dollar, Jamal Bryant, Juanita Bynum, and others. They are a blessing to me because some people are not able to make it to a church because of various reasons; health, transportation, embarrasment, and these are just a few. The bible says that faith cometh by hearing and by hearing the WORD of GOD. These men and women of GOD are spreading the gospel, but we have to realize that they are human too and that as humans, we all sin and fall short of the Glory of God. Who's to say these people have not learned to error of thier ways, repented, and have been forgiven? I am so glad that GOD is not like man!!! Please children, I know that there is a lot going on in the world right now, but the best thing to do in this situation is not to talk about it, but pray about it.

The person who wrote Snakes In The Pulpit is no better than the ones he is calling snakes. It is all about the money, who is he fooling? Who knows if he is telling the truth or not? He could be someone jealous because he did not get his 15 minutes of fame. Where is his proof? He has none. People are writing those type of books to justify not going to church at all and to continue to do their dirt. If you think there are snakes in the pulpit, you leave. If you saw it, then so can someone else. Who needs you? Go figure out a better way to make money.

#s 2, 10, and 12 are part of the elect few that are not deceived by the lies. As the scripture says " if it were possible, the very elect would be deceived". I thank God that I have the presence of mind to continue as #12 previously stated.

Well I know every one saw the movie Baby Boy with Tyrese and In the scene where his girlfriend kept hitting him and calling him names and then suddenly he lost it ..well a lot of females are the same way if a man try to walk away leave him alone folks keep saying this man is a abuser and they don't know what part she played in this and most of us were taught that if somebody hit us we should hit them back and don't go casting judgement on me cause my wife ain't stupid enough to want to argue and fight so we don't have that problem and when things do get heated we shut up and give each other space to cool off as some of you others should learn to do so judge not that you may not be judged Pastor Weeks deserve forgiveness just like all you other sinners and all have sinned and if you say you have no sin you are a lie and the truth ain't in you...Bless you Pastor Weeks and Sis Bynum...

I think I would just take the hit bro. Humble ourselves and seek forgiveness. Only control the things u can. DO NOT try to demean her anymore, for God will judge US ALL. Stop making excuses.....I hate excuses. Fix the problem.

Mr. Weeks you truly need God. You are a sad and pathetic excuse for a man. I won't even address the fact that you are supposed to be a leader in the Church. God holds those that profess to represent him to a higher standard. A standard that you have obviously completely overlooked.
Go to Juanita, your congregation and then to the court. Ask for forgiveness and accept your punishment. Then and only then will you be on the road to redemption.

Im not gonna bash either of the two ,but i will say the Church better get it's act together. God is not pleased and about to show Us some Signs and Wonders! The blinging and balling will be coming to an abrupt end sooner than later. The rapping and stepping will also cease. He is gonna take Us back to the Old School style of religion. (Fire and Brimstone!) And those who know what im talking about know its coming.
