"I've been on 'America's Top Model.' This is totally different. We push the kids into a real work environment. [ANTM] is kind of made up; they want more drama. We want more on the runway."
-- Former male supermodel and new reality competition show host Tyson Beckford on the difference between his show and Tyra Banks'. (Metro)

I LIKE TYRA AND TYSON BUT I DON'T AGREE WITH WHAT TYSON SAYS. I THINK TYRA'S SHOW ANTM DOES TEACH THE GIRLS HOW TO BE A MODEL IN THE REAL WORLD BECAUSE A LOT OF THE STUFF THAT TYSON'S SHOW DO THE TEACH THE PEOPLE ABOUT MODELING TYRA HAS ALL READY DONE ON HER SHOW

I remember the episode of ANTM that Tyson Beckford appeared on. If he thinks ANTM is so juvenile and dramatic, why would he make a guest appearance?

Just a means to draw attention to his show at Tyra's expense. He is nasty boy running around on TV shows half naked and in some cases buck naked, probably a DL.

Of course he'll say this...You notice he already wants the same drama for his show before it even starts by making this comment hoping it'll boost the curiosity of any viewers to watch his wannabe show. Great marketing/promotion method!!!

I think this is an immature statement he's made. First off, all or most of the shows out there now are drama, scripted and staged, that's the way to go to get ratings up. Instead of supporting her show and wishing her the best and saying that he hopes that her show can be as good as his, shows that he is the hater. That's why most black shows are canceled because of the non support it gets. On another gay note: If he is gay or not, he still is sexy, just in a gay way. But these days most of the cute guys are gay, locked up, married, taken or no good. I am not sure if these shows still exist at all but if they do, hell they dont as much exposure to let us know its still going strong.
In loving memory to the good African American shows (my opinons): Good Times, Sanford and Son, Martin, In Living Color, Eve, All of Us, Living Single, Steve Harvey show, One on One, Half & Half, Soul Food, Cuts, The Cosby Show, Fresh Prince of Belaire, The Game, The Parkers, Moesha, and Girlfriends.

I'm at my limit reading how our people bash each other for no reason. There is room enough in this world for us all to have and get what we want on our own initiative without pulling each other down. I only wish the media would take a stand and separate the positive info from the negative info, and then I or anyone else could be selective about what I read but No, we are immersed in the negative, and diminished in the positive and the world reflects this in NATURE. Think positive and your Karma will be positive.
