It seems as though bringing her television empire to the Big Apple may have turned out to be more than what Tyra Banks bargained for.
According to published reports, the 'America's Next Top Model' diva and daily talk show host is reportedly living in fear of a hulking stalker who's been terrorizing her for months and was set free by a judge last week.
A 37-year-old stalker named Brady Green has been nipping at Banks' heels for the past few months and was arrested last week for doing so.
Cops and prosecutors said that the Dublin, Georgia native has hounded Banks with multiple letters and phone calls since early January. He even started sending her flowers and showing up to the set of her Los Angeles studio.
On March 18, Green showed up at the New York City studio where the former Victoria's Secrets spokesmodel films her daily talk show. Carrying a large duffel bag stuffed with magazine write-ups about Banks and notes to himself about his various attempts to reach her, the tall, dark and husky man asked to speak to her but was immediately cleared from the premises after cops were called.
The New York Post reports that a source spotted Green, just a few hours later, sitting across the street in a window seat at a McDonald's, drinking coffee and flipping through one of his magazines.
Green told police he was homeless, although he appeared clean and dressed in neat, casual clothing, they said. Cops arrested him in the restaurant and charged him with stalking, harassment and criminal trespass.
Adding to Banks' anxiety, Judge Anthony Ferrara released him on his own recognizance -- but issued an order of protection for Banks.

Yes Tyra should be careful. But what does the situation have to do with New Yorkers? The stalker is from Georgia!
I'm not even from New York and I found the poll offensive!

I don't appreciate the response choices to your question. Calling all New Yorkers crazy is offensive. There are emotionally disturbed and troubled people in every city and town across this nation and around the world. This is a sad and horrific situation for Tyra Banks, whom I really respect and have a lot of empathy for. I don't understand why it was necessary to make disparaging remarks about New Yorkers. I am certain that most New Yorkers feel a lot of compassion for Tyra and hope that this individual can be dealt with in the legal and mental health system before something unthinkable happens.
Sincerely,
One of Millions of Stable New Yorkers

I resent the voting choices as I happen to live in New York and not everyone here is crazy.. Maybe the people who live in the city, but don't include everyone under one banner..
Stalkers can be cured with 10 minutes of time from a celeb in a protected environment. But when you ignore them or throw up walls, it makes them try all that much harder.

I also feel our judicial system is messed up you know how many times they let these kind of people go and they are no different than when they were arrested and it usually takes something horrible happening to someone then they all look back and say wow this guy was crazy! Why dont they have stricter stalking laws anyway? Tyra I am a christian and I believe the word of God and want you to know that I have asked the Lord to put a hedge of protection around you and his angels camped around about you and plead the blood of Jesus over you and there aint no devil in hell big enough to go through the blood!

What a stupid poll. Why would a stalker from GEORGIA mean that all New Yorkers are crazy?

What was with the poll located above concerning the "crazies" in NYC? Newsflash......your own article noted the stalker is from GEORGIA not NYC.

Tyra baby girl you stay prayed up. Know that no weapon formed against you shall prosper! God has brought you thus far and he sure won't give up on you now. Just because it may seems that everything is happening at one time or everything is going wrong, it's just a test of your faith hunny. You keep holding on, even if the light looks dim because it's still shining just not as bright as you want it to. When you reach the end of that tunnel everyone will be blinded by that bright light boo! God has a plan for you and it's already worked out just have that faith that you know you need

It's doesn't matter who you are, celebrity or not...no one should be messed with like that. I think the judge should have put this man away for a while and make him think about what he was doing...or trying to do. He obviously has mental problems or he wouldn't have done that to Tyra. The only thing I don't like about Tyra is that she is for the "gays"....other than that, I think she is trying to make a difference and she cares about people.
