A true blast from the past, the legendary animation series 'Bill Cosby's Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids' is now available online as minisodes (translation = Internet-speak for miniature episodes). It's music to the ears of many black 70s (and some 80s) babies who grew up watching the only cartoon that arguably featured characters that resembled their likeness (or that of a family member).
Fat Albert, Mushmouth, Rudy, Dumb Donald, and the rest of the Junkyard Gang jump from one adventure to the next in select episodes of the show, which also features live-action cameos by Cosby -- who instilled his personal values of education and ethics into each episode.
Created by the legendary entertainer, 'Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids' was a hit during its twelve season run from 1972 to 1984.
Brought to us by Sony Pictures Television's The Minisode Network, it's just one of the many popular television shows in their stable (such as 'Facts of Life,' 'Married with Children' and 'Charlie's Angels') that have been condensed down to 5-minute adaptations, while still retaining the full story arc of the episode.
It's perfect for online and mobile viewers – and folks who have short attention spans.

Here's a summary of "Fat Albert Online and On Demand." When the LOH goes animated, here's a great entry concept. (Not now, but possible ...)

My, this is a pleasant surprise for me. I was age 12 when I did the voiceover for this pilot. Nice to know folk still appreciate the work. Aside from Bill doing many voices, he actually went into the 'hood to allow inner city kids to be involved from the concept to the finish. It was one of the most interesting of my film career as a child from Compton. jazzanji@aol.com
