They say when it rains, it pours.
Right about now, no one can know that more than controversial radio personality Miss Jones – whom it was recently discovered was let go of another high profile radio gig.
After exiting her top-rated spot on New York City's hip-hop station Hot 97 (WQHT-FM) on July 3 -- where she was replaced by popular Los Angeles personality Big Boy – her show was abruptly cut from the lineup of Philadelphia's The Beat (WPHI-FM) on Aug. 4.
Her show has been replaced by 'The Morning Beat' -- an all-music morning show on the Radio One-owned station.
While the Astoria, Queens- raised shock jock and former Motown Records singer could not be reached for comment, The Beat's Operations Manager Elroy R. C. Smith bid her adieu. "I would like to wish Miss Jones and her team all the best!," he told an industry trade media outlet last week.
"Until further notice or until we find that undeniable morning show, we are moving in a more music direction," Smith continued. "This is another way of us responding to the primary need of the young audience that music is the star!"
Miss Jones, legally known as Tarsha Nicole Jones, recently made national headlines when she was named in a federal lawsuit as a target for a hit by her rival Wendy Williams' husband/manager Kevin Hunter.
Williams' former talent booker/intern/publicist Nicole Spence alleged that Hunter plotted to kill Jones for bad mouthing his wife on the air.
In her memoir, 'Have You Met Miss Jones Lately' – released last year via publishing giant Random House – Jones harshly criticized Williams for being "insecure," "transparent" and "so dramatic."
"In her position, she should be professionally riding the wave as a leader of the pack or sharing the torch gracefully, knowing she will get love from young ones like myself who desire mentorship," Jones said. "Wendy wants to not only hold on to the torch, but also crush anyone who dares to have aspirations for success. Her justification has always been: 'I'm not helping nobody, because nobody helped me."

Ok. Two wrongs don't make right. So, When does Wendy go? She is equally as wrong, guilty & petty. Wendy is always in someones biz! I SAY FIRE HER TOO!

I am from NYC&can say yes Miss Jones was petty& a hator. But she brought an entertaining radio show in the morning. There isnt any good morning shows now, Ed Lover& BigBoi is wack. She not only brought entertainment news but also news that affects the community, so her present is missed. But I guess u do need some friends in the industry, I hope u see that Tarsha. Keep your head up.

Ms. Jones you will be missed, I understand that your show was funny and that maybe people take themselves to seriously. I did not understand why you did not acknowledge and pay homeage to past Female DJ's like Wendy Williams. You may not like her but she did pave the way for sister's such as yourself. I know that you will be back, this actually happened to Wendy Williams in her prime, so right now she is still proving to be an example. I can not stand that country radio station host they replaced you with he is definitely not from the east coast Big Boy is Borring. God Bless.

"Barack, The Majik Negro"
My name is Taurus Braxton and I am writing this letter to let you know that I am about to start a myspace protest against Mr. Limbaugh and his show. I am a registered independent, 33 yrs old and African American. I have listened to Rush for 5 years now and I am solidly offended by this parody song that he has aired since 2007 on his show. I am confused to why no one has protested this thus far and that he has been able to remain on the air after such ridiculous-ness being aired on his show.
He hides under the blanket of "This is just entertainment". True it is, but when you have voters that listen to him and TRUST his opinion, and base their overall opinion on poilitics and their view of the world, I feel that he should take more responsibility with his actions. I understand that he was just in 2008 been given a new contract equaling $400 million or more dollars and feel that this warrants me to protest premier networks as well for rewarding Rush for his antics. This would include Clear Channel, the parent of Premier, and then that includes hip-hop stations like hot 97, in my area. I am sure that the personalities of said station, hot 97, are not aware of this parody song. As I recall Miss Jones was reprimanded for her parody song about the victims of the tsunami as well she should have been. Don Imus was removed from his post at MSNBC... what's the deal with Mr. Limbaugh? Why does he get a pass, then gets a reward for his irresponsible behavior? Not good. In the world we currently live, I feel for those that do takes Rush's word as law because he is operating in his own interest with his heavily slanted point of view and those that listen to him believe him. If he is the only source of information that they have then he is guilty of propagating lies to the ill benefit of his listeners. They need facts from their sources not slanted opinions!!!!!!!!! I sat and cried last night thinking of how he twists the truth and those that trust him are being played!!!!!! IT IS NOT RIGHT. Those people deserve the true facts of this political time we are in now and they can then make real decisions based on facts to vote for the candidate of their choice!!!!!!!!
Please respond by Monday 9/15/08 because on Tuesday this letter goes to a list of companies as well as Rush and his advertisers in my area, MSNBC, FOX, CNN and all local stations in my area.
Thank You,
Taurus Braxton
If you are as angry about this as i am please email me and join this fight!

I LISTENED TO MISS JONES ON THE RADIO ON AND OFF AND HER TOPICS MADE ME SICK. SHE'S LOUD, IGNORANT, AND THINKS SHE'S BETTER THAN EVERYONE. SHE HAS TO REALIZE THAT SHE'S IN THE CORPORATE WORLD AND ITS NOT WHAT YOU KNOW, IT'S WHO YOU KNOW. THE FILTH THAT COMES OUT OF HER MOUTH SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN AIRED. I STRONGLY BELIEVE IN, "WHAT GOES AROUND, COMES AROUND." YOU CAN'T LIVE YOUR LIFE BEING HATEFUL AND TEARING PEOPLE DOWN. EVENTUALLY IT COMES BACK TO YOU. ATTEMPTING TO DESTROY REPUTATIONS AND TEACHING HATE DOESN'T LAST TOO LONG. IT ONLY TAKES 1 POWERFUL PERSON TO TAKE A PERSON LIKE MISS JONES DOWN. THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME SHE WAS FIRED AND IT WON'T BE HER LAST:)

if its one person that really deserved to be off the radio it is miss jones first of all she stole that shock jock style from others and took it too far to become one of the most horrible things on radio i truly think she was miserable in her personal life after growing up a pretty girl and turning into a pig of a woman i wish her all the worst maybe she can win a hotdog eating contest
